I've read this before. i don't think it becomes a show. with most manga, to get approved in japan, they need to make a pilot like this one. with death note, bleach, etc. they do the same thing. the idea is fur it to be an off-shoot of the real story. they r worth reading though!

I loved the Naruto pilot.. you should check out the Bleach pilot as well, it's pretty awesome.
