One thing I'm really loving about Sasuke Shinden is the character development and world building that we're seeing. We see how characters have changed, and how the Naruto-verse has reacted to the war, to Sasuke, and to other figures like Orochimaru and Kabuto. One thing that was always lacking the manga was the lack of perspective given of how the everyday commoner views the doings of the main cast. With Sasuke Shinden we get to set that. It makes the story feel more human and relatable. The result of this being that the world of Naruto feels more "lived in".

We did see that when Sasuke freed Orochimaru's prisoners as well. It showed another perspective.

It's nice to agree on this, the whole Sound bunch got squandered at the end of the series.

Instead of Boruto I would have preferred a Manga with Sasuke as the lead character. The manga would take place during Sasuke's journeys. It would have some fighting in it, but would mostly be about fleshing out other characters and adding a lot more depth to the world of Naruto. A Sasuke-led manga would be much better.

Well, that's another thing we have in common; I always wanted a Sasuke-Centric manga.

A manga titled Sasuke would push the theme even more of their bond and do what Naruto(the manga) failed to deliver at. Which is what OP stated. Being a seinen in comparison to Naruto being a shonen.

Then after Sasuke should of been the milking of Boruto.

The only way I would like a Sasuke series would be if it were a Taka-based story. Sasuke is too non-expressive to carry longer stories in my opinion, it's why his arcs are always kept short and backed up with other characters, I would love a slightly more vulnerable Sasuke to have his own series though.

I do like the messiah Ninshuu theme so I won't say I prefer one to the other but it's a fun thought exercise.

Its fun to see it now, but I think Naruto screwed up with worldbuilding way too much to start now.

Still, it's nice.

I think Sasuke shinden had some awesome stuff. Really fleshed out some of the ending and the missed space between Boruto Movie and end of Naruto ship.
