One thing I'm really loving about Sasuke Shinden is the character development and world building that we're seeing. We see how characters have changed, and how the Naruto-verse has reacted to the war, to Sasuke, and to other figures like Orochimaru and Kabuto. One thing that was always lacking the manga was the lack of perspective given of how the everyday commoner views the doings of the main cast. With Sasuke Shinden we get to set that. It makes the story feel more human and relatable. The result of this being that the world of Naruto feels more "lived in".
