I disagree with Taijutsu, Genjutsu and strength. He has not shown much feats regarding them. I would say he has about average. But non of the less, good and informative thread examining Tobirama.

Now that I've read this thread to its entirety, I gotta say, beautifully done and you backed up just about everything you said. Also did well in establishing just the type of character Tobirama is just by using his various feats throughout the manga. Since it's a databook entry type of thing, you probably should have added a little more to his character personality wise but I believe you were mainly highlighting him in the aspect of him as a shinobi.

I think he should have 4.5-5 in taijutsu mainly cause we haven't seen him do much fighting but he does have great reflexes so there's that. Nonetheless, this thread shows just how versatile and complete a ninja Nidaime was and we haven't even gotten many feats from him! Great thread bro

My only issue is a 5 in taijutsu but everything else seems solid.

Oh my friend made it for me. Not canon. xD

I was going to make a thread with lists of new characters and my predicted databook scores. I gave Tobirama an overall 37.5, but if the mighty penguin is saying less then I think I need to go and re-evaluate the scores I gave him :)

I always wanted to ask this about Senjus in general. Is the top top tier of senju just naturally strong?

Cause I remember Tobirama about to bust an entire wall down by pressing on it. Back then I was like "the ****"?

Anyway cool thread.

He has a range from 36.5-39 in my opinion.

Thank you! It means a lot.

I think his Taijutsu is great considering his speed and reflexes, but he might be a four. In genjutsu, he may not have any attacks for it so far, but the Senju were noted to be skilled in all aspects of combat. Not to mention he fought Uchiha his whole life and they are masters at genjutsu. I was just speculating on his strength.

He's shown nothing special as far as Suiton, hell Itachi has shown better suiton

Itachi has used Suiryūdan [through copying Kabuto] and Suigadan in part one. And none of Itachi's suiton have massive AoE. So no. And did you see my reasoning on why Tobirama has not shown large AoE suiton?

Great thread brah. I'm guessing it took you a while to make this xD Although it's nice to see some Tobirama recognition even though he's not doing much in the manga atm.

I'm still waiting for that epic Suiton.

About two hours. z.z

We might not see it Lol

I agree with the range of the overall total score, good job! =D

Thank you! :D

Seems like a nice analysis to me, even though ithink 5 for both strength and tai can be off, rest seem fine to me.

His scaling in sution might be very well increased imo like Hiruzen's elemental jutsu or how Kakashi turned from tripping over using 3T for 3 minutes to a MS spammer.

I put 4-5 for strength. I don't see someone as big as him being really weak. But it is speculation on my part. :p

Thank you! :D

Pretty sure Tobirama is going to be maxed 5's , potentially losing a point or half in strength.
He is most likely the epitome of what it means to be a Senju. When I say that I mean being a clan known for mastering all the forms of ninja combat. That combined with his intelligence, title of former fastest ninja alive, and his one seal jutsu utilization is enough for me to posit that.

^ lets not forget the Kage Bushin's influence, that allows one to accumulate twenty years' worth of experience within a single week.

I would say Taijutsu = 4 as he lacks physical strength and some Taijutsu skill and Genjutsu would be 2.5 since he has no feats.

^Neither does Orochimaru, yet he scores a five. At least with Tobirama we know there's a chance if him possessing Genjutsu (bringer of darkness.) as well as being closely affiliate with a Senju that was reknowned across the world for her skill at it.

Genma has a 3 in genjutsu. Shizune and Anko both have a 4 -_-

So there is no excuse for Tobirama having a genjutsu score above at least a 3.

Databook stats are unreliable. Orochimaru demonstrated great speed and physical strength through his Senjutsu chakra (which is not seen yet but deductive reasoning says so). To score 5 in Taijutsu would mean:

Speed + Physical strength + Secrets of Taijutsu.

Well i don't trust too much in the databook in my opinion, it's kind of outdated.

Scoring a 5 in taijutsu means how skilled you are in taijutsu. Nothing more to it.

And you're ignoring that Databook stats are unreliable, as multiple scans can show how incorrect they are.

Then why are you here discussing data booklet stats? They can be blatantly contradicted, but when that doesn't exist they are valid, as, like it or not, they come from Kishi's mouth.

The second part doesn't make much sense, what are you driving at?
