I believed in Sasuke becoming good back when he said 'I'm gonna become hokage and protect the hidden leaf' and then he helped the good guys. At that moment I accepted that Sasuke would be good. It was believeable.

Then However in chapter 692 he pulled a 360 and was like 'Screw this I'm gonna kill naruto' which made sense to me since he is that type of guy
Then 6 chapters later he be like' Naruto an I are best friends'
I agree that there were times when I thought Sasuke was a bad guy, but this chapter made us see what went on in Sasuke's head. He did went on a rampage when Itachi died, that was because he lost someone precious to him again, the very thing he wanted to avoid because he thought it was a weakness. After talking to Itachi, he calmed down a bit and returned to how he was before. He wanted to kill Naruto so that he wouldn't have any bonds left, but this fight made Sasuke realize that having bonds actually gives you a kind of strength that he was missing, a strength Itachi and Naruto had and that made him reconsider about what true strength was.

Really 0/10? Sound's to me and sorry if I'm wrong that Sasuke is your fav who got lost and here you are mad at the fact he admitted his own defeat and naruto won by stopping him.

I say won only in the way Sasuke wanted to achieve his goals to which Naruto succeeded in stopping.

Deff 10/10 Chapter both for Sasuke's development and Naruto's Victory of stopping Sauce.
^I think this sums up the opinion of true fans.

Naruto did not TNJ Sasuke. Sasuke is the one who's doing most of the talking in this chapter. Sasuke kind of TNJ'd himself. Naruto's actions made Sasuke realize that his ideals were wrong NOT his ideas. He admitted to being wrong about isolating himself and taking all hatred onto himself. He does not say his revolution idea is wrong, he even mentions revolution in their conversation.

Sasuke never has been or ever will be all good or all bad. Even when he was behaving badly there were certain lines he was not always willing to cross. While he and Naruto have settled their differences, he mentions that he's not ready to accept everyone. He's not going to go all touchy, feely, accept and love everybody, and blindly follow Naruto. That's not who he is. He even warns Naruto he might go against him again.

I think he's going to have a wait and see kind of attitude. Trust but verify. He'll see what the alliance does instead of just assuming they won't work together, find out what his role could be in the post war era. If anything repairing their friendship means that he won't try to do everything on his own because he realized bonds could be a strength and not a weakness. He knows full well that everyone will not be willing to accept him and he's okay with that. He truly does not care what most other people think of him.

Personally, I think this is one of the best chapters Kishi has written in a long time. I think he's kept both characters true to themselves.

Now that he has found his voice he will probably use it to shape this post war era and have some if his ideas incorporated into it. When Naruto won't take action, he probably will. Friendship does not mean you always agree with someone.

Oh well at least you didn't bash my opinion like the others. I amy deal with sasuke being a goody goody but if he goes back to the village with Pedoruchimaru ...that would be too much to take

Sasuke becoming "good" and returning to Konoha to be accepted again was the only way to stop the cycle of hate and bring a halt to Indra/Ashura transmigrations.

You realize this is a shounen manga don't you? This is not going to end like Death Note. Even Vegeta came to accept Goku's friendship and joined the z team, in his own way. What I don't understand is why you thought this fight would end any other way.

Naruto hardly spoke to Sasuke this whole fight did you read what I read??? Sasuke TNJ'd himself just like it should have been. Sasuke has been fighting his entire life to attain what he perceives as strength only to realize he's also been fighting the one person who gives two shits about him because he looks at caring as a weakness...

As a person who has hated Sasuke since the beginning of this manga, this chapter completely changed my perception of him. It was nice to finally see what he's been thinking. It was beautiful and your review is poop.

If that's all you got from this chapter. You probably need to re-read everything from the beginning. And not take everything at face value. Hopefully you'll understand.
