Does anyone else think that when Itachi said "[Izanami] has already been prepared..." he was referring to the previous chapter when he made eye contact with Kabuto before dispersing into crows?

Think about it. There's a close-up on his Mangekyo when he says that line, and although Kabuto said he's immune to eye techniques, it may not be the case with Izanami.

The complaining about the uchihas is so childish i mean now that this jutsu exist that most of you predicted is here its all of a sudden a free power up but a bunch of jinchirikis saying naruto ima tell u my name so u can have bijuu mode is totally hard work.... stop complaining and think about "WHY WE HAVE NEVER SEEN IT USED" no one wants to lose their eyesight therefore it wont be used sasuke wont use it so u guys can stop whining about naruto loosing to him geez.... wateva suigestu has in the scroll is what should be putting sasuke on narutos level, this jutsu wont because "HE WONT USE IT" i mean really why even complain nobody complained about that bijuu mode.. no matter what upgrade uchihas get u guys will complain anyway let it go...:sy:

Agreed. If the storyteller creates some insane op technique to avoid the effort of proper plot development, that would be extremely disappointing. I'd like to think that Kishi won't make Kabuto and his Edo Tensei go away that easily.

So... if Izanami can turn a genjutsu into reality, and/or decide somebody's fate, then couldn't he see himself as still being alive and healthy (not sick and coughing blood all the time like he used to), and then turn that into reality/decide his own fate?

If they are opposites, and Izanagi makes the caster lose their eye, maybe in addition to the other predictions, it makes the opponent lose their eye! (thinking outside of zeh box!)

Im thinking that if izanagi can turn reality into illusion making the the attacker think it hit its target then izanami can make its opponent think that there dodging an attack but when actually there not. Just a wild guess but think bout it.

everyone is always debating about what sauske's power up will be .what will allow him to fight on naruto's level.after this chapter I've. Figured it out, itatchi will lose susano due to becoming blind in one eye from using this new technique. His yata mirror and sealing sword will be given to sauske in the proocess,this is thee main reason sauske saw itatchi before he aw naruto and fought him
