So we finally get confirmation that Orochimaru was also trying to bring back the 4th Hokage when he tried to take over Konoha. We now know why and how the impure resurrection technique works. So, that means that Kabuto was on a mission collecting DNA from power ninja. Madara is playing his hand and I know Kabuto have some strong cards up his sleeves.

I hope that the other guy are around to get things started. Now we are getting more information as the war is continuing.

this forum is quite not easy to find, even if you are a NB user, that is the only reason i cant think of why others are lost. as for narutochaos being back on 2011, i somehow doubt it will be the same

Deatheknight I agree. Lord used to post but it seems that he is either too busy like Melo or lost interest. Its true that there is not much to post as the 4th Great Ninja War is going on. I hope that with a new year we see a spark in interest to post.

Well, I may not be back until after the Christmas Holiday. You all enjoy the Christmas Holiday and Blessing to you all. Be safe so that we can once enjoy the many thoughts and theories from the many minds of intellectual thinking!

Merry Christmas everybody!

I am so sorry, I was really busy with graduate studies this Fall term. School work is way too much, even if I don't sleep that much in order to study, still it's not enough to cover all the topics that I needed to master. The finals were freakin' tough I was like coughing and almost puking due to exhaustion after 6 hours of exam in one day, 2 subjects one after another. arghhh

i still owe you my comments on the recent chapter. i am still wondering why kabuto lead anko and the surveillance team into madara's lair. was it only that he could capture anko or was he really into undermining madara? madara sensed his ill will already when he noted how come these konoha spies were able to get so close? and we know now that kabuto is out to discover the secrets of the sage of the six paths.

if kabuto is against madara but is not for konoha as well, then we have three parties at war. and kabuto would play safe behind all his summons/impure world resurrection. and we also know that he had an 'ace' under his sleeve that he had against madara. and that may be the 'thing' on the 6th casket.

my guess is that it's madara izuna.

Melo, have a good Christmas and I hope that all your studying pay off with the highest grade. I understand what your going through. I took last year off from my graduate work.

I didn't think that Madara Izuna was a possible option for the impure jutsu against Madara but watching Kabuto's choice on the people he used it will make sense. This is the reason why Madara wanted to know the secret before the jutsu. Just in case Kabuto used the jutsu on him, he will have a way to fight!

Thinking about that, isn't it possible with the Rin-negan that Madara can pull the soul right out of the body. This should be effective against the Edo Tensei!

Thanks Sato. Merry Christmas as well, and good luck on your Graduate studies, too.

Interesting theory about how it is possible for Madara to take out the souls of the Edo Tenseis. That is, if he could replicate The Six Path's of Pain's jutsus.

Now for the probable 6th coffin 'Edo Tensei' that made Madara freak out: I also didn't think it was Izuna as well, since how would he fight against his brother who is supercharged right now with both the Sharingan and the Rin'negan?

But Izuna does have the MS, and Madara, we haven't seen his MS ever since he fought Hashirama; even if he did summon the Kyuubi 16 years ago, we weren't able to see the form of his MS, the only level of Sharingan that could totally control the beast. So Izuna's MS could pose a threat to Madara, too. Remember Itachi's MS was able to 'kill' Madara previously-- the Amaterasu that he implanted on Sasuke which burned Madara. He was saved only by that 'secret' that he kept from Itachi; without that, Madara himself admits, he would have truly died.

But if it's not Izuna's MS then I guess it's more like the psychological impact that Izuna would impinge against Madara that is why Kabuto will summon him to fight against Madara. Beyond that I can't see what kind of summon or 'ultimate jutsu' Kabuto would muster against the 'all-knowing' Madara. But it seems Kabuto is extremely confident he could hold himself against Madara just in case Madara would decide to attack him.

So we ask again who/what could be that which in the 6th coffin that totally freaked out Madara?

Sage of the Six Paths. I guess the only one who could really trump Madara's sharin'negan right now would be to summon the Sage of the Six Paths himself. S/He should be at least someone who has an MS or a superior Rin'negan to be able to beat or weary out Madara. Madara would indeed wonder how Kabuto was able to find his DNA.

Or someone else who knows Madara's 'secret'.
Kabuto could at least anyone who could tell us the weakness or the secret to Madara's 'invincibility and immortality'. Since it has been made possible that the dead be able to talk... by impure world resurrection. The most recent one who was able to 'kill' Madara if not for his 'secret jutsu' Izanagi could change how things turn out.

Konan! I think Kabuto will find her and 'revive' her, so that he could derive from her her special knowledge of Madara's secret.

Madara is unto discovering Kubuto's secret as well. I think that's what Black Zetsu is up to, aside from the fact that he could manipulate the soul of a person to do what he wishes, such as what he did to Sasuke during his uncharacteristic turn-around/development to a foreboding dark and ultra-explosive murderous intent at the Kage's summit. Not only that; White Zetsu's spores will drain Kabuto's chakra and render him useless just in case he gets totally unruly, or at least replicate Kabuto. In any case, if Madara succeeds in totally manipulating the controller of the Edo Tensei's then the Alliance is toast.

Undoing the Summons. Meanwhile, I hope the Alliance receives soonest the crucial intel about the weakness of the summons that Kankurou, Sai and the ambush team have recently discovered. That the summons can be beaten and 'killed' if they could undo the 'bond' that connects Kabuto and the summon, or settle the existential issue that the soul of the summon has that remains with the 'real' world.

That is, by way of establishing a deeper and truer bond with the significant person that the soul of the summon shares with; sort of if the 'issue' that the soul of the summon that was left unresolved in the real world is sorted out by the help of the 'living bond' then he/she is released from Kabuto's control. The soul truly leaves this [corpo]'real' worldly existence and proceeds onward to the next life [the world of spirits].

The Alliance's strategy. Now this means that all of the Edo Tensei'd dudes have to be ID'd first; and then for each of them, the significant living person that remains to have valuable ties with that 'soul' has to be summoned so that he/she could directly confront it.

Thanks Melo! I had to work hard to figure out what to say. I first had "Feliz nuevo ano todos! Since I am still in the habit of passive Spanish and word to word translation you can understand why. In English it makes sense but not in Spanish. I still can figure out why year(ano) comes before new(nuevo).

Once again we see Kakashi devise a brilliant plan to take out the youngest member of The Seven Swordsmen Of The Hidden Mist", or at least when they were alive. Like a trust shield, Haku places himself to finally protect Zabuza! Caught like a deer in the headlight of a speeding car, Kakashi might loose his head and finally meet this father! Is it possible for Kakshi to use that trusted ACE up his sleeve! Only time will tell! This episode is a little bit of information and action! The action can't be compared to what we learn about the 7-Swordsmen! Believe it or not, we finally learn the true nature of Zabuza's sword! Like Samehada, Zabuza's Beheader Blade drinks blood! In the early fight with Kakashi, we did not see the swords true nature as the blood spilled was only of Zabuza and the henchmen of the man who hired him! In this war, we get to see its true nature unfold to show why Zabuza was considered to be so powerful!

Even now, the vision of the 4 great ninja villages winning a slipping away with the twist of the seven swords!

Hey guys, it’s been a bit of wait but we finally have the first Naruto chapter of the year – and what a chapter it is. Finally the cliffhanger can come to an end as we get to see the Seven Swordsmen together in battle for the first time.
Kishi couldn’t have set up the battle any better as Kakashi has enough troops (ie. cannonfodder) to hold off the swordsmen while he goes after Zabuza. This chapter also gave us more insight into Suigetsu’s intentions behind collecting the seven swords, and in the process revealing a surprisingly ‘not-so-evil’ side to him.

There have been a lot of speculations and hype surrounding the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist in the past. We were told they were the elite of the elite and uber-skilled in battle.
They were also unique in that they were the first ninjas introduced in the Naruverse who were identified by their weapons instead of special techniques. Alas, it was soon revealed that the swordsmen disbanded long ago, dashing any hopes of seeing them fighting as a team.

And so, the battle that is occurring right now is a once-in-a-lifetime event; something every ninja there should write home about. Heck, wouldn’t you want to say that you helped the great copy ninja of Konoha defeat the resurrected Seven Swordsmen of the Bloody Mist.
And for those countless nameless ninjas that will be killed in this battle, well, at least they’ll have something interesting to put on their tombstones

Last time I had placed doubt on how badass a battle it would be with the majority of the swordsmen without their weapons.
Well, Kishi has again trolled me and conveniently given them a scroll that summons four of the legendary weapons. Including Zabuza’s beheader sword, that’s five swordsmen with swords now.
I’m still confused by where Zabuza’s sword came from. This chapter shows Suigetsu failing to find the sword in the armory of the prison he and Jugo escaped from. So someone must have retrieved the broken sword sometime between Sasuke’s attack on the kage summit and now – that someone is likely to be Kabuto.

My guess would be that Kabuto was present all along at the summit as he has an unhealthy interest in Sasuke.
He remained hidden until the fighting was over and took the opportunity to pilfer the beheader sword for his collection.
Suigetsu was yapping this whole chapter about collecting the swords and reforming the Seven Swordsmen, but it looks like Kabuto has beaten him to the punch already.

The four swords summoned in this chapter must have either been collected by Kabuto in the past or possibly by Madara during the period when he was effectively th Mizukage. The three unsummoned swords on the scroll are of course Zabuza’s Kubikiri Bōchō (already present), Samehada (in Killer Bee’s possession) and Hiramekarei (Chojiro’s sword).

Zabuza’s sword’s secret power is finally revealed, and you have to admit the ability to regenerate itself using the iron from the blood of people he slaughters is gruesome yet very cool.
If you’ve diligently watched the Naruto anime filler before, you’ll probably recognize the twin swords called Kiba. An ex-swordsman named Raiga used its ability to channel lightning to deal some beats on Naruto and friends in a horribly written filler arc involving resurrection curry and a kid pedo-Raiga stuffed into a bag.

Fortunately, Kishi chose to deny Raiga ever existed and replaced him with one of the Beattles; how awesome is that?

The Kabutowari (Helmsplitter) is an interesting weapon in that it is more like an axe than a sword. It’s basically a hammer attached to a chisel and is meant to break through any type of defence.
Most ninja don’t where heavy armor, but nonetheless it could prove useful in breaking through physical barriers created by ninjutsu.
To me, the Homatsu is just unimaginative. And attaching explosives to a bigass stick doesn’t seem very functional as it places the wielder very close to the explosion.
On the other hand, the Nuibari (Sewing Needle) is probably the most original of the swords and presents one of the sickest ways to kill multiple enemies. Hohzuki Mangetsu, Suigetsu’s brother, is also identified in this chapter.

Suigetsu mentions that Hohzuki had mastered all seven swords at one point – a feat that is likely what inspired Suigetsu to collect the swords.

Kakashi certainly has his work cut out for him, facing seven of the most powerful swordsmen ever, plus three other powerful kekkei genkei users. Sure, Kakashi has a small army behind him, but Zabuza’s mist technique has pretty much forced them to engage in small groups or risk friendly fire (I’m kind of surprised no one in the army has an ability to counter the mist).
But it’s in these tough situations where Kakashi’s ability as a genius tactician really shines.

The combo attack Kakashi laid out in this chapter is very clever, but I feel it may be too complex. If the enemy were to counter even one of the steps, the attack will fail. And also, according to the rules of manga, an attack revealed prior to being carried out is almost certainly doomed to fail, lol.

To be honest, I had a sneaky suspicion Haku would repeat history and do his suicide block somewhere during this battle.
I just didn’t count on Kabuto controlling his body at the time and thus removing the emotional impact of the original scene.
And with undead Haku able to regenerate continuously, he would be able to protect Zabuza all day long. However, I suspect that Kabuto’s tactics may backfire on him.

Even with his soul suppressed, forcing Zabuza to cut through Haku may be too much to ask. I wouldn’t be surprised if it trigger’s Zabuza’s memories and allows him to regain his body next chapter

Lord, remember that Raiga was one of the seven after one of the other members died! He was not considered one of the first generation of the seven swordsmen! I think he was around the same time as Kisame! It was told when he first appeared in one of the fillers. I can remember the leader owner of the Samehada, Fuguki Suikazan, Hoshigaki Kisame, Kurosuki Raiga, along with Mangetsu Hohzuki. I don't think the others were mentioned.

Now first time we will see Hatake Kakashi push him self the hardest in this war. I can see him going to one level beyond his current level when the war is over! I hope that he gains the status of Senin at the end of Naruto! Its only fitting after being a student of the 4th, Naruto's teacher, and a sub-student of Jiraiya!

Kakashi found a way to attack Zabuza using old experiences, the past, and Naruto! And from Kabuto's response, it seems that its working! The white Zetsus' are strong and but a secret is revealed. The white, and maybe the black as well, can drain the chakra from their opponents. This is confirmed by out resident Byakugan, Niji Hyuuga! I am inclined to think that original the Zutsu is the black one. The white one was made by Madara as an enhancement. Why? If Zetsu was the white and black, why are there so many of the white copies. The implication is the same! The white Zetsu was made from the original, the black Zetsu using the DNA from the first Hokage! As far as we know, there are only two very powerful chakras, the Shodaime's and Kushina Uzumaki.
