hehe, well yes...but it would be fun and you have to agree that on naruto wind element are rare and here almost everyone has it.

And there are users with all elements, thats so overpowered. If we had these we could get a primary element that we can preform powerfull jutsus and lower our power according to the other ones...

Overpowered? No. They only have all elements because they've been here for that long or because they've trained that hard.

But you have a point with the primary and secondary element thing. I think it's a good idea in general, I just don't know how we could go about with it on a web-based forum.

Technically it could happen, if the "game" was to answer some element-related questions.
But this would mess up the current battle system and the ranks, also what would happen to the people who can use now all elements, not to mention that some of them already have custom elements.
If you want, make a more complete suggestion so we can discuss the details of it.

I'm all for this. Like I said before, if ANY of the users here were to go up against any of Kishi's Naruto Characters, Naruto, Jiraiya, Tsunade & even Pain would all have their asses handed to us. Can you sense the logic here? It's because none of them's even close to having as many as 5 elements, to the contrary here in NB.

Though, I must say, the rules on how many elements you can have in RP, were created based on what Yamato said, which is that all of the Jounins he's come across so far, the most number of elements any of them had was 4, and it was a total rarity to be considered. Basically implying to people who took laxatives before RP-ing here, that not everyone can have up to 4 elements just because they achieved over a 1000 posts in less than 3 hours. Or 2000 posts no less.

Lol. If I may, I beg to differ.

I say we limit the number of elements everyone is allowed to have, down to 3, with exceptions, of course, such as Sharingan users and people with 5000 posts & above. This way, things will be a bit more fair and much challenging instead of the usual, overrated 'countering an elemental technique with another elemental technique' routine. It's getting old. >.<

I understand ur point...But there's something that we have to consider also, that u didn't point out. In the naruto manga there is a lot of taijutsu, subs, hidding....These kind of attack are nearly impossible to perform here on NB. In the manga, ninja will come up with strategy to win, by so they will hide and do stuff that the other can't see. This type of fight is impossible considering that u have to tell everything to ur opponent so he can come up with an adequate counter-attack.

I am the first one here who would do anything for realism, but we're playing chess here, all our pieces have to be shown to our enemy and he has to come up with a plan against it.


Responding to ur other post (above me I think) I am in the favor of a limit of 3 elements and 4 at the very limit for experience fighter. This way fight would be much more strategic instead of overpowered elemental combo.

Have you ever seen my fights? Well... I try to stay as much close I can to the actual naruto fights.... So I think I'm the only one or at least on of the minority (spelling) who uses a kunnai in battle...

I dont want to take all the fun from battles but if we have more restriction we would need to appeal to our minds more often...

Yeah, kunais are so conventional that not many people use them that much; it's almost like a last-choice weapon ^^

I'm just wondering about the people that already have 3+ elements. If this sort of a new system is enforced, wouldn't it just make them all the more powerful because there would be less people with more than three elements?
