Chakra colours

I always thought it would be more interesting if shinobi had different chakra colours due to their nature affinity or kekkei genkai/bloodline limit.

Everyone's got blue chakra. I only remember of Minato's green chakra (Rasengan). Also, there is Gai&Lee's "colourful" gates and Jinchuuriki's coloured chakra, but that's not what I'm talking about. I mean on shinobi base modes.

I know this is not very important, but I gave it a thought. What do you think about it?

Well different chakra has(have)[o_o sounds grammatically incorrect both ways :T_T:] different colors this was both talked about by Jiraiya and Ao. Jiraiya talked with Naruto way back in part 1 asking what he thought his chakra color was and how it differentiated from the other Chakra (Kyuubi's) in his body. Naruto went on to say that he chaka is of a blueish color and that the other chakra is red and different in some way. In the case of Ao, he says that he was able to remember Shisui's Chakra color (Which was different than Danzo's. He the goes on to talk about how he fought Shisui and how he remembers the chakra.)

That's the exact point there, Howard. Shinobi have different chakra "colour" inside themselves (most likely reffered to the personality) but when they release it outside the body, most of them have "blue" chakra.

Well we haven't seen many people release "raw chakra". We've only seen Naruto, Konohamaru, Kakashi, Minato and Jiraiya use Rasengan which is basically the only jutsu in which "raw" chakra is actually used and is visible. It may be possible that the technique only shows a blueish tint of chakra. The only person who had a different color was Minato and he was the creator while the rest only copied. .-. Or it could just be laziness on the part of the animators.

Howard, I meant on releasing great amount of chakra when being enraged or something. When that happens, most of shinobi releases blue chakra.
