Choji can beat Neji, Temari and probably even Darui with full intel and by starting the battle in Butterfly Mode. The problem with him is that he is waay to fat and slow to keep up with faster shinobies.

The size is not directly related to durability. For example, if you cut a 2,1 m tall and 40 years old guy he bleeds like a 90 cm tall, two years old.
It has harder to take him down in that form, that's obvious, but saying his durability is on the level of a V3 Susanoo is ridiculous at best.
