So how many of you still remember the 1997 game Carmageddon?
Way back when i was still young and handsome (now I’m just handsome), this was one of the 1st "3D" car games on the market, but unlike all its predecessors, this one had its focus on breaking rules and dealing as much carnage as possible to your opponents!
Aaah - I still get all misty eyed just thinking of all the fun i use to have hitting Little old Grannies crossing the road and watching their eyes go pop...
But why am i telling you all this? If your reading this thread chances are you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about...
Soooo.... you'll be glad to hear that after the cancelation of Carmageddon 4 back in 2005, it’s now been officially revived by the original Dev crew and publishing company.
They had a countdown site that lunched today and you can visit it from time to time to get all the latest on the development of this game.
The Devs are also encouraging all fans of the original series to visit their site and leave suggestions and feedback of what you liked or disliked about the original games so they can change/implement those in the new one...
So, in close, if your too young to know what I’m talking about - we'll all I can say is there’s a hole in your education.... and if you do know what the hell I’m talking about, go check out the site and keep an eye out for this awesome games return some ware in the near future.
