Can't stand nami!!!

I started reading one piece recently, I'm at the part where luffy is fighting eneru.

Seriously, normally I never get pissed of at reading manga but nami is so annoying, she can't fight, always relies on the others, she treats most of her crewmembers like shit, only cares about money, she has no respect at all and at some way she never gets hurt( maybe very lightly, but that's all) because everyone protects her. Nami is 100x worse than Sakura. She is the only character in one piece that pisses me off. What do you think about her? Will she change and get better later in the manga?

She definitely will change over the course of the story.

And I don't know about you but I think Nami is one of the more complex characters with one of the better back stories in the crew. She's also the more normal and sane out of all of them. Most of her bossy and snappy attitude is also often portrayed as comic relief, so it wouldn't do you well to take her too seriously :/

At least Nami is being perfectly honest about being manipulative. Can't say the same about Sakura.
