B. The increased concentration of chakra indicating a powerful attack will be unleashed (example Nagato detecting concentrated chakra indicating that Itachi is about to do something major).

Ao saw through it because he was not the one actually caught inside the genjutsu. If Ao was on the receiving end, then it's a whole diffirent story.
Also we don't know what happened with Shisui and Ao. For all we know Shisui could've stomped Ao, Ao may have had several allies assisting him, Shisui could've been caught by surprise with some jutsu etc. Who knows what happened. But just because shisui said he fought him it doesn't necessarily mean he could keep up with shisui's full capabilities or anything like that. Kakuzu before he got earth grudge (so weaker than when he was defeated by RS mind you) said he fought hashirama, but we both know how Hashirama stomps him.

It could still be said to be seeing Chakra, since Sasuke straight out of his own mouth said those nano-sized bombs can't be seen by eyes in a normal fashion, and even Tobi failed to see the nano-sized insects, mistaking them for Chakra. Why would Tobi make such a mistake if his eyes can see at a cellular level?
Likely, we as the audience were only shown the bombs to understand what is happening.
THe world needs your post. The Byakugan is badass enough with its default feat. Its abilities shouldn't be blown out of proportions. That was what happened to sharingan. And we don't want that.

Obito failed at first, but that is to be expected as obviously shown by Sasuke, you have to zoom in to see the details. Obito later corrected himself after but seeing them being retracted, meaning he either zoomed in and saw them or made a detailed assumption.
wth, wrap up this cellular level stuff. The Sharingan could. Doesn't change the fact that Byakugan still surpasses it in insight. I think seeing 64/361 chakra nodes during the heat of battle is still better and feat worthy than seeing minute bombs at a cellular level.

learnt some things from his Father who is the main aide to not only the 7th Hokage but also was for the 6th (who had info about all clans residing in Konoha)
not only that but Mitsuki who is also well versed in clan knowledge didn't refute it but instead hoped Boruto had the dojutsu
