[Discussion] Can Zoro beat luffy in a fight??

The gap between Luffy and Zoro has always been portrayed to be minimal until enies lobby and the conception of gears that put Luffy a step forward, but during the same enies lobby arc where Luffy created a gap with Zoro, Oda decided to destroy one of Zoro's sword to give him a power-up in the following arc that gave him huge boost in attack power and defense and decided to use the same power-up of gears(or rather the drawbacks of gears against Moria) to hype up Zoro's endurance. Later on he assigned them in the supernova group and made them train against top tiers during the timeskip and until dressrosa, they had a lot of parallels in terms of combat. Clearly Oda never really stepped aside Zoro that much in comparison to his captain. Not to say however that Luffy isn't stronger. He clearly is

No not only that. They shared lots of parallels even besides that including in skypiea and other arcs, but during that moment in particular they used their strongest attack in the initial of that "gag" fight you mention

They haven't really shared that many parallel linking them to being even that I could remember. Plus that "gag" fight lead to Nami one shotting both of them.

There is nothing that can put Sanji on the same level as Zoro and Luffy after TS. You should stop riding on WL arc and get updated.

No one said that they seriously hate each other. It is just for comic purpose and you guys are using that as a reference to say that they are close in strength which is laughable at best.

No he's not. Only arc when Luffy is on a whole new level than Zoro is EL arc. Later Zoro managed to decrease that gap considerably after getting Shusui.
