[Discussion] Can Zoro beat luffy in a fight??

Let me make something clear first , I know luffy is stronger then zoro. You people made that vulgarly clear to me in one of my threads. Now I'm asking if zoro can beat luffy in battle , keep in mind its not always the strongest fighter who wins a fight , you have to pay attention to weaknesses and techniques too. Like for example how luffy is stronger then crocodile but crocodile beat him twice before luffy had to come up with strategy. So do you think Zoro has a shot at beating luffy??

They are both pretty straightforward in their fights.. They don't use 'dirty' tricks' like Crocodile's poison or Doffy controlling other people or using puppets. So in that way the battle would be rather simple with both going head on. Luffy would win but it would be a lot closer than many people on here believe.

Caesar can win against Luffy. Magellan can solo entire Blackbeard crew. Blackbeard pirates can kill Whitebeard. Law can solo entire strawhats in the right circumstances. Every battle depends on the circumstances, locations, knowledge, mindset and other things like that. Like Bartolomeo said, there is no battle with certain outcomes. Like Nami said Water7 arc Strawhats were weaker due to their mindset, like Zoro said against Kaku his mindset affected the sharpness of his swords. Obviously Luffy can be defeated by Zoro, just like he could be defeated by even weaker characters than Zoro. It means nothing however considering we all know Luffy is stronger and this thread is pointless

imo zoro loses hight diff gear 2 is pretty fast luffy can dodge most of zoro`s attacks but zoro cant since he lacks speed and thanks to oda zoro didnt show any coa to say he can tank with no\little damage so as long as luffy just uses g2 zoro will eventually go down no matter how endure he is but if luffy uses g3 it will be a deadly mistake

and lets not forget zoro is a sharp tool user ( iam not looking for Headache so let`s just say i mean luffy lacks his get hit no damage advantage here )

it`s just about battle circumstances and how the battle goes any one of them can win but if you are asking who is stronger then it`s luffy

Also in what way is being made out of rubber a weakness for sharp things ? It's tougher than flesh so if anything he's better protected than most enemies Zoro fought.

Whats stupid is your feeble mind that cannot comprehend what I am trying to say. Basically lemme just break it down for you so you can understand U_U. Ok lets look at the fight with Mihawk vs Luffy at marineford now obviously we know Mihawk is miles above zoro in terms of swordsmanship and strength but lets not get into that right now U_U you still with me?. Ok well now basically my point is this Luffys fighting style is a bad match up for someone like Zoro's fighting style because Luffy stretches out his arms alot when hes fighting which is an advantage for a skill swordsman such as Zoro because he can just cut off his arms as he is stretching them out to attack you get it now?:leaf:
