Can Zabuza's Taijutsu beat Kitsuchi's Taijutsu?

With fodder I mean not really relevant to the plot.
Zabuza's role was developing Naruto's character.
Kitsuchi's role is filling that captain spot. He hasn't made a big difference, right?

Strength doesn't have anything to do with relevance. Sakura is a main character of this show, Sakura. Just because we didn't see much of his fighting doesn't mean he stood around and did nothing. We barely even SAW Kitsuchi's battlefield so you don't know about anything that happened there...Zabuza is "just" a side character, Kakashi is "just" a side character dude even ITACHI is just a side character so declaring any character that isn't Naruto or Sasuke irrelevant & therefore weak is ridiculous.

Someone who got appointed a Captain out of all of the combined nations wouldn't be a fodder- have some common sense.

They just had little relevance to the story. That was my point. There is no actual definition of fodder, and this was my definition of it: Having little to no relevance to the story.

Zabazu/Kituschi (or however you spell it) were barely relevant. Same goes for characters like: Shino, Temari, etc. you know the works.

OT: Zabuza has never shown skills in Taijutsu.

He has in his reanimation. Also, he has a 4.5/5 in Taijutsu according to the data books.

Barely relevant? Kakashi said if it wasn't for Zabuza, Naruto wouldn't be the ninja he is today because he would have never found his ninja way. That's pretty relevant to me, Zabuza being the reason why Naruto is Naruto
