can u name this anime?? please

i was told about an anime that was apparently quite good but i forgot the name of it :flaw:

its about a boy whos class mate are murdered by a strange man in his class the man spares his life and implants a red ruby/blood gem into his hand

he then goes to prison for the murder of his class (even tho it wasnt him) and in prison he discovers he can control his blood and use it as a weapon and has to fight other like powered people for his survival in some sort of gladiator type game?

this is all i know about the show if you know the name of it could you please tell me
