Can Tsunade take on Itachi or Kisame?

I believe she can. Lets take a look at some stuff.

Simple Uchiha fire attacks won't do anything to her.. so thats no problem

Which basically leaves the sharingan attacks like

Tsukuyomi: Which can be broken by Tsunade with the help of Katsuyu... well that is if shes there in the starting.

Amaterasu: is a dangerous one but I doubt it can do anything to Tsunade....Afterall, she does have reflexes on par with Killer B and etc.


Susano'o: This one is nothing to her.. too be honest.. Tsunade's strength > Susano'o

So out of those 3 techniques only Amaterasu is the dangerous one to her.


Now the big special weapons that make Itachi's Susano'o "Invincible".

Totsuka and Yata.. Well a counter for this is gonna have to be basically Katsuyu and Tsunade combination.

Totsuka needs to pierce through the person to be able to seal them.. and that ain't gonna happen against Tsunade.. Basically its only useful to catch people off surprise.. or when your sure you can pierce through them.

Yata without Totsuka is no good and only wastes Itachi's chakra, which will eventually mess up his eyes.. and cause him to bleed like Sasuke and all that good stuff .


Itachi's counter to Katsuyu is only Totsuka. But since Katsuyu can spread and break off into little pieces I don't see it getting stabbed or pierced through.


Also, for many underestimating medical ninjutsu.. I hope you know all she has to do is TOUCH Itachi once and his nerves are screwed and can turn into a instant K.O.. And since her "blitz" have been shown to be fast i can see it happening.. But ITACHI HIMSELF is quiet fast and intelligent.

Before you guys/gals decide to say "Itachi will figure out a weakness".. Well Tsunade can do the same. He isn't facing a power hungry guy.. or a revenge bent kid.. But instead a smart and intelligent Sanin.


I can see Tsunade winning this .. mid-high diff.

And this is current not the one at her strongest. While Itachi was literally in his prime in shippuden.. "he had a disease".. is not a excuse.. Even if he doesn't have one his eyes will give up on him.

Itachi doesn't have the KA ;x bahahah. His Naruto did.. and now it doesn't exist. ^_^.

If it were prep time she can summon katsuyu a small version though.. Thats the thing.. its either she dodges it or she takes it on. Whichever the matter doesn't bother her.

TSunade has no repeal jutsu like shenrai tensei so if she is hit with Amatarasu she will just keep burning until she is filled iwth so much pain she passes out dead,unable to regernate any more.

If she took them seperately,maybe. But together? You listed Itachi's techs and didn't list Kisame's. Hell, if anything Kisame would just need to get her a couple of times with his sword and her healing/strength will be diminished. She has speed, but no where near A's, so she isn't going to dodge Amaterasu. She can't break through the Yata Mirror so that means she can't directly attack Itachi's Susanoo with Kisame attacking her too. Plus if she gets caught in Tsukuyomi w/o Katsuyu out, then she is done. I doubt she will summon her off the bat, or even have the time. Itachi is extremely quick and can through kunai and shuriken before she even has time to complete the hand seals. Kisame would use his water dome on her to which will give him the ultimate advantage. This fight is too oeverwhelming, even for her. Sorry, I just don't see her coming out of this.

Edit: I just re-read the title, but my comments still stand. Plus, I doubt she'd meet them seperate anyways.

Itachi would have to slice Tsunade in half to kill her with his susanoo or Amaterasu like you said. Since we haven't seen him with a dominate sword fighting style, ie Sasuke, Killer b, I don't see Tsunade defeating Itachis legendary defence that which kept him alive thru kirin and who knows what else. I would have to say Itachi in his prime mid to high difficulty.
Itachi prime and non edo madara i would say is close fight Madara barely winning if not losing to Itachi

She doesn't need to take it on.. Itachi can't keep it up with his eyes and chakra.. If he brings it out early then Itachi

To the "or Kisame"-part. Depends where, and whether Kisame has shamehada. After all Tsunades punches is greatly weakened under water, and suffocating - well it will kill the cells, if they get no oxygen, so her regeneration ability wont work.

Regarding Itachi.. Well Tsunade can't touch Itachi without being hit by amaterasu, if he uses it as a shield. How does Tsunade get close to Itachi anyway, when he uses suanoo, amaterasu, etc?

And no.. Tsukuyomi can't be broken by Katsuyu, wtf are you thinking..... It's a genjutsu that lasts 1-3 seconds in real life, and it feels like 3 days. Even if katsuyu sees it quick to break it in 1-2 secs (which she by most chance wont), tsunade will still take a huge deal of damage, and itachi using amaterasu right after.. she wont dodge it. But depends whether itachi actually can use amaterasu, since he also takes damage from tsukuyomi for a bit. Of course she will just have to avoid eye contact then, but goes back to my initial question: how does tsunade hit Itachi?

In fact you are underestimating the sharingan so much, it's a sad disgrace to the manga. Itachi can beat Tsunade with tajutsu... She will never hit him. He can see through every single attack she uses, and he can take her down with shurinken (since he is above anyone at that), and though tsunade can just regenerate afterwards, it still gives her no way of hitting itachi. So tsunade can't even outlast itachi in means of chakra. She stands no chance. U_U
