Totsuka and Yata are confirmed spirit weapons. Where do you think they come from? Dimensional rifts can't hold them because they will just go back to the user much like the same they got to him before. and no the kamui can't go to any dimension, that only happened because Obito was already dead but that's almost the same thing. We already saw how kamui was limited to one dimension to the living. Yata was never bounded to any elements, quit reading the wiki. Pick up the databook to learn how the shield works. It will defend from any attack and yes falling off a cliff would be considered one given that the cliff will harm you. It's a shield not rocket science.

Well according to Stephen hawking, once the Totsuka will try to seal the Yata mirror, they will create an infinite loop that will rip time and space itself0. Thus creating infinite energy and distort logic itself. The mirror will try to deflect it, while the Totsuka will try to seal it.
Since the yata mirror can reflect everything and the Totsuka can seal everything, they will forever be locked in a loop and create infinite energy and destroy every structure, as well as time itself. That is due to the immense gravity that will form.

WRONG. While yata blocks all attacks, it never said Totsuka can pierce ANYTHING. It just says ANYTHING it pierces. Since Totsuka canno pierce Yata, nothing happens.
