Can the Totsuka sword seal a Juubi Jin?

Disclaimer: With this thread I AM not affirming nor implying that Uchiha Itachi could on his own defeat a Juubi Jin like JJ Madara or Juubito

Now, with that out of the way, if somehow by plot, teamwork or divine intervention Itachi managed to stab a Juubi Jin with his Totsuka sword, what would happen?
Would he be sealed, since its a spiritual weapon, not simples ninjutsu? Or since it isn't Senjutsu or taijutsu the effect would be negated?

There's no reason why it wouldn't seal unless the totsuka blade has a sealing limit on how much chakra it can seal

I see why not. If Itachi got someone with the Sword of Totsuka even if the are a Juubi Jin they would get sealed. It is an SO6P tool isn't it.

Clearly most people don't understand how the Totsuka sword's sealing ability works. The Totsuka can "seal anything it can pierce". With that being said, it cannot pierce everything and once it begins to seal whatever it has pierced, it begins to seal it slowly and not instantly as observed with Nagato and Orochimaru. Bare in mind that neither Nagato or Orochimaru resisted once the sealing process was taking place. Orochimaru was too shocked at the fact Itachi possessed such an ability and Nagato did not resist as he came back to his senses and chose to be sealed. If other, more powerful characters like Madara, Kaguya or Obito are pierced, then there is a good chance that they could counter the sealing ability while it is midway and even that is only if Itachi is able to somehow pierce them in the first place. :hmm:

PS: It would be a good idea to review the fight between 'Itachi vs Sasuke' and 'Itachi and Naruto vs Nagato'.

Yes, Sasukes nonenhanced sword was able to pierce Madara so totsuka should be able to as well

OT--If spirits in Naruto are chakra/Yin chakra as it seems...then most likely not...It'd be negated/erased since it doesn't have NE.
