That was filler, not cannon. Sakura never canonically stated that Shikamaru was smarter. And if you want to go by fillers, Sakura was smart enough to not be effected by genjutsu in the last, when shikamaru wasn't.

Based on ability Shikamuru isn't Kage level while Sakura is but he defiantly has the reasoning of a Kage.

The fact that it took Asuma's death for shikamaru to realize that the symbol Hidan drew on the ground was the cause of his jutsu says alot.

Considering both a S rank kage level yes i am comparing them. Your fan fic doesn't change that fact. Sakura needed chiyo and still should have died, shika solos hidan after fighting both him and kakazu.

Shikamaru is a tactician, and his IQ is over 200. Nothing you say can compare him to Sakura, Sakura is a book smart medical shinobi.

She is not much in battle of course, she tried to distract Madara with her high IQ and ended up getting stabbed and had to be rescued. Shikamaru actually led the shinobi alliance in tactics after his father died from the Juubi. There is your answer, and stop fapping to a horrible character.

throughout the manga we have seen that shikamaru is far superior in this catagory.

Whet? She purposely got that, why else would she say she would be a distraction and activate her byakugou seal. Think. You have no feats that proves Shikamaru > Sakura, they have simular feats. Sakura's IQ can be just as high, it's highly suggested, (Chunnin Exams to be exact)
