rofl at the DB quotes asnd comparisons... ive no more concrete an idea about who madara/tobis real identity is than the next person...
but since the stories started to become envoloped in all this SO6P , blah blah blah... i have begun to wonder if perhaps its the younger son of the SO6P inside madaras body... the one he didnt choose to succeed him.... or have i just opened up a big bag of unneccessary worms

I kinda read and skimmed through the responses and i dont think anybody really read what the creator of the thread wrote.
he's not saying Tobi is Obito hes argueing that Tobi isnt Obito.
and he made a good point that Obito wouldnt be trying to get revenge on the village.
and Obito was weak when he died. Tobi isnt Tobirama cuz the 2nd was ressurected and sealed. also its not Izuna, Madara lil bro cuz dat dude is dead!
Madara was the strongest shinobi of his time 2nd to only the 1st hokage. i think its possible for the 2nd most strongest shinobi, founder of the Uchiha to be alive and give himself a fake name like Tobi..

actually, the answer to what the creator of the thread said is people who say obito=madara do that because they think madara has taken over obito's body with his soul......so, no what obito would or would not try to do is irrelevant as madara is in obito's body...(goes the argument and obito would have no control).
However, the above contention is bs for MAANNNYY other reasons.......
obito's height was different to what the current madara/tobi/whoever's is( 3rd- 4th time i m saying this) so it CANT be him.

The theory was already proven wrong a year and some months ago in the manga. Tobi is Madara, and there's no way Madara could be using Obito's body because of 2 reasons:
1.- Half of Obito's body got crushed.
2.- When Madara removed the mask, he had wrinkles, mark that he is ninety something, 94 I think. Wouldn't Obito's body look as young as Kakashi?
Tobi is not Obito. Obito died, and nothing can change that.

Give me a link where kishi says that izuna is dead and give me a link to the manga chapter where it says madara was the founder of the uchiha please because I am sure kishi never said izuna is dead but hey I am a human I could be wrong and I am sure that madara was only the leader and not the founder and that most likely the older son of the SO6P was the founder of uchiha and creator of saringan because he had eyes power of the SO6P

we do not know much about obito all we know is that he supposedly he died wich it does not make sense because kishi always tells the full story of a character and as for madara madara stated that he is madara but is it really true no one knows madara might of used obito's body and some how did a forbidden jutsu to make obito look allot older and take his body

I doubt very seriously that outside of being the source of kakashi's sharigan, obito has anything else to do with the overall story of naruto. But if you find and read my theory "i think I've figured it out", I propose a situation where tobi is madara AND it ties in some loose characters in naruto.
