Don't know, looks like blood and it doesn't looks like someone else blood because otherwise Pains reaction wold give this fact away, like a surprise reaction or looking to the side. But, after two days of close examination on the whole scene after the shinra tensei scene, I discovered something that perhaps is a sign that she's still alive, however, I'm not pretty sure to post it here. Let's wait the next issue. For now, consider that everything linked to her death is being hidden too much for me to take a final decision.

i wanted to make this same thread... because i didnt get it either... its such a strange picture...
but i think its pain's weapon with hinata's blood on it... but i think it also shows pain's sleeve so its not THAT much blood...

No, that's blood coming from behind her body, the black this is her jacket, the white thing on the top of the picture is her arm. Both scenarios, that isn't that much of blood at all, but considering she hit the ground with her back turned up, blood coming from beneath means that pain's rod somewhat got trough her body, from one side to another. Cosidering the angle, it can be either the heart or shoulder.
At least, that's what I saw.
