Can someone explain how hashirama is supposed to be the strongest.

Ok a lot of people on this website seem to think hashirama is the strongest ninja ever. But in the beginning of the naruto series it says hiruzen sarutobi was the strongest kage the leaf village ever had. Then kishi made it so hiruzen fights not only hashirama but his brother n orochimaru also. From what I seen in that fight he didn't even look stronger than n old hiruzen. Now I know a lot of you will say that wasn't hashirama at his best cuz he was being control by orochimaru but it has been stated already that orochimaru edo was perfected. Finally in the naruto databook( which is also written by kishimoto) says hiruzen was the strongest hokage n hashirama was the strongest of his era. Now with that being said can a hashirama fanboy please explain why kishi would say hiruzen was the strongest n have him beat his former teachers if one of them was suppose to be stronger?

Hiruzen > Hashirama.

Ignore people who claim otherwise because the manga/databook made it perfectly clear that Hiruzen was known as the strongest Hokage, not Hashirama, thus you will always win the argument because unlike them you have actual proof.

yeah compare kabuto's edo's to the orochimaru's part 1 edo's.

1. orochimaru didnt have full control on them like kabuto.

2. kabutos was strongter, compeltely was able to wipe out some of there minds to zombies.

i've already told u guys kabuto said himself that the dif. in his and oro. edo is the amount of people he is able to control and bind... that has nothing to do with the power of the person or people they resurrect

how many times do i have to tell people do u really think kishi knew he was going to make the 1st this important in part 2..... no... he gave the 1st a power up in part 2 thats why he didn't use his flower tech... and like i said if he had flower tech. in part 1 kishi would prob have powered up the 3rd too...... the outcome would be the same.....
1st used his mokuton and was easly cut by enma staff...... plus... mokuton wasn't stronge enough to break enma cage....

u do know legend like the sage is the same thing as god of shinobi right......... the so6p was also known as god of shinobi and what part of hiruzen taking on the 1st and 2nd dont u under guys understand...... and its pretty dumb saying hashirama records were lost .......... since everyone knows his battle with madara they kown he founded the village and had mokuton.......if his records were lost then we wouldn't know much but nice try :ice:

I love flame wars, but seriously they wouldn't show Sarutobi beating both HAshirama and Tobirama at the same time for no reason. :/ Sarutobi might not be as strong as the two but I can see him being on par.

I think Hiruzen is stronger, Hashi was a good counter for tailed beasts. Anyone who can control beings of that power must be considered godly, but it doesn't mean that he is more powerful than anyone else it just means he has the means to do something others cannot do, that is why he was considered a fairytale.

Hiruzen knew every justu of the leaf, that would include all of the ones Hashi and Tobirama knew (that weren't kekkai genkai and also hiden techniques), and more, and he had the best summon IMO, which allowed him to counter Mokuton, at least in that fight. There aren't many big things that Kishi has suggested are wrong after the timeskip, so why does everyone assume that this is wrong.

Futhermore, Madara's statement (whatever it suggested) is no different to someone like Kisame stating Guy is the only one who could stop him (hypothetically speaking). In the same way Guy was a bad match up for Kisame, Hashirama was merely a bad match up for Madara, especially in the situation where Madara dared to bring the Kyuubi to their fight (as Hashirama is able to suppress and subsequently control Bijuu).

Did Madara even know of Sarutobi?
