Wtf are you talking about? We. are. talking. about. the. barrier. that. stopped. the. tailed. beast. bomb. not. the. one. that. stopped. hiruzen. Just becuase the barrier kushina used covers all sides, doesn't mean Minato's s/t barrier does aswell...

You said "There's obviously more than one kind of s/t barrier and its obvious that you fail to see the distinction."

Like I said, when did I say there is only one kind of barrier jutsu?

Then you said "The barrier that stopped Hiruzen from reaching the kyuubi was protected on ALL sides(otherwise you think he'd have stopped, knowing him), while its unknown if the barrier that dealt with the bijuu dama was or not."

The barrier that stopped the tbb was only shown to protect in front, there is no evidence that it protects behind aswell. That is my whole point.

What I want to know is who told this guy that the barrier that stopped Hiruzen was a space time barrier? Like where is he getting this from?

It was Kushina that put up that barrier anyway, I don't even know why they are trying to use that lol.

Dude, go away and stay away. When have you EVER seen Minato place any seal of any kind in thin air? He ALWAYS puts his seals on his kunai. Ofcorse he doesn't need the kunai to make the hand signs. But ask yourself this, if didn't need the kunai why use it at all?

What do you mean the kunai was to reinforce against the nine tails attack? The Space Time Barrier warps an incoming attack immediatel upon contact. You don't need reinforcement. And if he did need the kunai for reinforement, don't you think his first priority would've been to pull the kunai out FIRST?

But he didn't do that did he? Why? Because his barrier works just like a summoning jutsu. You can perfom the hand signs for summoning jutsu with two hands, but have you EVER seen someone apply the actual seal with two hands? NO. They only use one hand to apply the seal to the ground. This is the same case. Minato didn't pull out the kunai first because he needed two hands to perform the hand signs for the space time barrier. He then used one hand to pull out one of his kunai, and the other hand to apply the seal.

I'm getting really annoyed with you guys ignoring what's obvious on the manga page. Until you show me a scan where Minato is applys the space time barrier seal in thin air and not on a physical object direct no more comments my way

Nah, don't worry i don't like arguing with retards anyway. And for the love of God, stop sucking up to and acting as a second fiddle to that ispeak guy. Are you afraid of debating on your own so you quote me arguing with others(to get them on your side)? LOL.

Anyways, when did i ever say anything about placing a seal? That's the FTG jutsu you idiot, NOT s/t barrier techs. We don't know what or why the s/t barrier tech even works apart from a few glimpses, let alone if you need a seal.

Stop pulling things out of your ass. The summoning tech does'nt have sh!t to do with a barrier tech, and that entire rant you just made is not based on ANYTHING. Show me a manga scan that says s/t barrier is like summoning, then you can argue.

And did you see him pulling out the kunai with one hand and then applying the seal with the other? Is it given anywhere in the manga? No. Everything else you say, does'nt really make any sense.

You are getting worked up arguing over your personal speculations that a barrier is like a summoning jutsu and somehow magically requires seals like ftg does. Here's 3 different jutsu:

-s/t barrier tech
-ftg
-summoning jutsu

To show that there is any relationship between a BARRIER ninjutsu and a summoning, YOU have to provide evidence, not me or the Op.

What the OP has said is that using a combination of jutsus presented in the manga, minato would be nearly impossible to beat. Now you are assuming when you say, no but to perform xyz jutsu he needs <insert wall of text here>

Stick to the manga.

No matter what you say, there is CLEARLY a seal on the kunai he used for his space time jutsu.

You don't have to believe what you see. You can sit there and say that it is only one piece of evidence, but it is the ONLY piece of evidence. It suggests that he placed a seal on the kunai to do his space time barrier. You can say it doesn't prove me right, but it's more evidence than you have obviously.

Can you show me even ONE manga page to support anything that you've said so far? No. It's not just my job to provide manga evidence. It's the job of anyone who enters an argument to back up their claims with supporting evidence. Do you have any? No. So /your silly arguments

And that is a fail point because if one barrier can than so can another. Try disproving that one statement. Forget kushnina or minato or w/e, just try. You can't because like 99.9999% of the 11 year old immature kids on this site you're immediately getting worked up because one of your fav characters is under threat from this thread while you fail to even see what my point actually is. All i'm saying is that its possible, you half wit.

You think that all barriers are the same? Kushina's barrier was not a space time barrier. Not every barrier can warp an attack like the space time barrier can. The fact that you just said that retarded statement proves you unfit for this discussion. Lol you've embarrassed yourself enough

Yawn.
"if one barrier can than so can another" this is honestly the dumbest thing I have seen on this thread yet. I guess if Minato's barrier can teleport attacks all other barrier can aswell huh?. Such fail logic.
Itachi is no where near my fav character that is the funny thing. Lol, you have to play the fanboy card when you cant think of anything else to say?
Of course it is possible that Minato's barrier could protect all sides, but where has this been mentioned in the manga? Never? Therefore there isn't enough info to make a thread like this which is why I said the manga hints that. ajp is the one who thinks all barrier protect all sides so you should be talking to him.

For NarutoKage2:

Go to chapter 381 and just read the first 3 pages. You'll see Jiraiya fighting one of the pains. You'll also see him say that the pain charged right into his barrier and wounded him. Yet one barrier could do what another could, that would mean that pein would be warped just like Minato's space time barrier warps incoming attacks.

I'm doing to help you because I don't think you realize how confused you are

@iSpeak and troyg39: You two still can't get the point even if we're using it in layman's term.

1. A "Barrier is a Barrier" statement: Is this so hard to understand? You can't get a grasp of this? All of the barriers I see in all movies, animes, they all have one purpose. And every barriers have a certain area that they can protect and it includes the front, back and sides.

You two made a conclusion based on just one example and Ispeak said that a clone can easily sneak into Minato's back because it's unprotected. You two should consider what a barrier can do. Regardless of their names, they all share the same purpose.

For example: I'll say "A space time tech is a space time tech". For sure both of you will argue on this because you can't get the point of the idea.

FTG and Kamui have different names and function in the manga but why would they fall into "A space time tech is a space time technique"? For sure the answer did not cross both of your minds and you will argue without sense.

Now, I will tell why. Both FTG and Kamui can BEND TIME AND SPACE and this is mainly the function of a space time technique. Same goes to a "Barrier is a Barrier". Whatever type of Barrier that is, bottomline is they share the same purpose with the others and there's no barrier I have seen in my entire life that protects a front area only and leaves the other areas vulnerable.

Using one example to make a conclusion is stupid. The use of examples can persuade people to believe in what we're trying to prove. We have to attempt to affirm the truth of something by demonstrating it in specific cases but how can we do this with only ONEexample?

Saying that Minato's barrier can't protect his back is plain stupidity because all barriers can protect a certain area including the front, back and sides. The two jutsu's i've mentioned is possible because the use of 8 trigrams is to summon the throne. And summoning the throne doesn't require hand seals and there's no statement in manga to disprove that Minato can't do anything when the barrier is up while it is more logical to say he can do another thing after the barrier is being put up.

Yawn, I honestly cant believe he doesn't understand that not all barriers protect all sides.

Kamui is a barrier jutsu, does it protect all sides? No.

Sealed Iron Wall is a barrier jutsu, does it protect all sides? No.

No where in the definition of a barrier does it say it needs to protect all sides for it to be considered a barrier... that is just plain stupid.

Ajp, you are wrong. Simple.

Now, prove that kamui is a barrier jutsu? Where can we find a statement saying kamui is a barrier jutsu?

With regards to Sealed Iron Wall, I LOL'd at you. The Sealed Iron Wall is a seal place on the two sides of the gate to FORM A BARRIER. Now, since it was mention that it is placed on two sides, does it mean that the back is vulnerable? If so then there's no point for kakuzo to destroy the seal so he can enter the gate. They can use the back because it's unprotected. What's the reason why they destroy the seal?

Too bad, you really can't use logic and common sense after all...

Edit:
No where in the definition of a barrier does it say it needs to protect all sides for it to be considered a barrier.

With the sentence in bold, it's very clear that you can't use the so called analysis. WHY? Simple....you can't grasp the definition of what a barrier is..

Let me say this again, a barrier is something that blocks or impedes. If the back portion is open and only the front is protected and the attack comes from the back, would it fit the definition of being a barrier. How can we call it a barrier if it can't block an attack? get the point?

I don't need to, I just use my sense :) anyone who knows what a barrier is knows that Kamui is one.
I just wonder how long you will keep my quote in your sig when you find out I am right.

Actually I think Minato does need a Kunai for the S/T barrier, I had overlooked this fact but after observing the following scan I think he needs the Kunai

You must be registered for see images

The upper right panel, he's holding a Kunai in his right hand.
He didn't use space time barrier on this pic but Hiraishin. I tried to zoom it and i see no kunais in his hands:

Ok well ill just quote the databook then :):

"When the Jutsu is used, a wrinkle forms in the center of the barrier and every tartget inside the barrier is sucked in."

"Kakashi stares with Mangekyo Sharingan. He is able to specify the barriers location and size at will."

Hmmm, now that you mention it I tried zooming as well and it's not a Kunai after all. Thanks for clearing that up :D

I would like to ask everyone's idea on how to beat this deadly combo:

1. Minato activated space time barrier. We all know how space time barrier works
You must be registered for see images

2. Minato summoned a ceremonial throne for his Four or Eight Trigrams Seal. We all know that this technique is used to seal any target into a human body or an object. Minato was able to seal Kurama's chakra, Kushina's chakra, and his chakra in Naruto using this technique.

You must be registered for see images

After the ceremonial throne has been summoned all Minato have to do is to say "SEAL" and all is done

You must be registered for see images

Now, how can someone stop Minato from sealing his/her chakra when space time barrier is activated? Please share your ideas. :scorps:

NOTE: This fuuinjutsu is Minato's original jutsu so this is unknown to many.

Edit: Looks like this is hard to figure out, right? :whip:

A short story: Itachi facing against Minato

Itachi: How can you stop my tsukuyomi?
Minato: By not looking at your eyes
Itachi: Then how can you see that I'm activating Amaterasu? yes, i win....
Minato: LOL. I'm activating space time barrier
Itachi: Huh?!
Minato: See this one?
Itachi: What's that?
Minato: A ceremonial throne. I'll use this to seal your chakra. Any last words?
Itachi: Ohh, shiiiitttttttttttt
Minato: Idiot.....:win:

That was one post as opposed to every single one by that ass kisser. Have you seen me quote every reply to whoever disagrees with you in the fckn thread? Sorry but unlike you i dont like tongue on my *******. Have fun, that guy cant seem to get enough of your rectum, and you enjoy it, apparently.

Every post that disagrees with your own biased opinion is the dumbest thing youve read? Annoying 11 year olds are annoying.

Also if you had the brain cells to read between the lines youd know i was only arguing because you made it sound like theres no chance it could possibly happen, which is biased. Did you even bother to read my first post? I already stated the downside of these threads, dont know how you see a parallel with that and the ass kissing done by that guy lmao do you even know how to read?

No not every post against my opinion, just your one :)
It may have been what it sounded like to you, but I asked you to read through my comments properly and you said you did so I automatically assumed you agreed with ajp... even though it seemed like you was agreeing with me in the exact same post. I never once said that is how it definitely works... infact, the first thing I wrote was "from what I can tell".
Understand the conversant next time you quote me... or it will end up in a pointless argument like this.
