On a side note: Sakura has more feats of terrific stupidity than Shika, so that would outweigh her 'shrewdness', surely?

The girl has the most splendid (manga fact) feats of reckless absurdity - shining examples of brainlessness that just... boggle the mind and cofound expectations of a reasonable reaction/action.


EXAMPLE: That time she thought she could kill Sasuke, by herself... with a poisoned kunai.

You do realize Sakura could've kill Sasuke on more than one occasion during that confrontation, she just didn't do it. But that isn't what this thread is about, you sound mad for some reason

This is how a Shikamaru conflict with Sakura would go down.

Part 1: Shikamaru comes up with some "strategy" to capture Sakura in his shadow but what he doesn't realize is that Sakura got caught on purpose. She then uses inner Sakura to break out and speed blitzes him and knocks him out.

Part 2: Same as part 1 but Sakura just shannarooos out of the shadow instead of using inner Sakura.

If we go by hype Sakura wins.

How did Sakura get into Kaguya's blindspot to land a punch on her? She clearly worked out the secret but she didn't show any strategic thought before landing the punch. What does this tell you? Sakura finds instant solutions to problems without the need for strategy. The same way she had an instant solution in the form of an antidote for Sasori's poisons and the same way she sussed the hole in Shikamaru's theory on the secret of Pain.

Shikamaru needs time to strategize and even then his solutions to problems have been pretty half-baked. Failed plans include vs team dosu, during the sra, vs Hidan (the first try), the war arc where he thought the alliance learning a d rank earth jutsu on the fly would tank a tbb, amongst many others.

Sakura has feats and hype. Village's shrewdest child, instant antidote for Sasori's poisons, whizzed med-school in 3 years, worked out the secret of Pain, found Kaguya's blindspot and many more.

That was kakashis strategy and plan, sit down

I only used those scans because he wanted to use hype, and Kakashi sense of smell is quite extraordinary, (his summons is dogs, and he come from people assoicated with wolves) but I know Naruto was wrong.

the byakugan blind spot is extremely small. Only a projectile like an arrow could get through, as seen with Kidomaru. Sakura should have been seen or at least most of her body should have been seen. I think Kaguya didn't expect Sakura to create enough force to push her down.

How, Sakura's isn't a predictable fighter like he faced in the past, All of his oppenents where weapon users and easily able to read, like in attack patterns and stuff.

Sakura in a H2h combat, and he has no evasive feats on par with her, to possibly outsmart Sakura he would need some sort of precognition.
And Sakura fighting style is not predictable because she is also an analytical fighter. And Sakura does things in a creative fashion instead of a linear fashion
