Of course he can, he is a strategy man. She is book smart, she can see through strategy well based on feats. However, he comes up with them so quickly if it came down to this stuff he would win.

no, i'm saying the debris will distort her vision. also, knowing shika's smarts. if sakura tried to summon her slug, shika could just use it's shadow to trap her from behind.

This is how a Shikamaru conflict with Sakura would go down.

Part 1: Shikamaru comes up with some "strategy" to capture Sakura in his shadow but what he doesn't realize is that Sakura got caught on purpose. She then uses inner Sakura to break out and speed blitzes him and knocks him out.

Part 2: Same as part 1 but Sakura just shannarooos out of the shadow instead of using inner Sakura.
