Unlikely. Akainu's an admiral, and managed to survive and keep fighting after tanking serious hits from Whitebeard. He's had two years to become even stronger, which, according the unspoken rules of manga, he obviously has.
I think only the the monster trio and Jimbe can stand up against him. The rest would be in constant danger and probably be a hindrance to the other 4.
Chopper can't go in monster point because he would get obliterated with that huge body. Robin can't touch him. Besides the fact that most of them don't even have the haki to touch them.
Exactly. Franky's Radical Beam and General Cannon
might do something to him, and
might be able to withstand magma, but beyond that, the rest of the crew would just be in the way. Now, if they had some way to keep safe, they might be able to provide some support. I mean, Nami could cause a torrential downpour to cool Akainu's magma; Brook could maybe freeze it or use his music to distract or deceive him; Usopp could provide support if he had the right deus ex botania, or had seastone cuffs like against Caesar.
I think Chopper and Robin would be the weakest links. Chopper could use his Brain Point to help provide logistical and tactical support, but beyond that they'd both be useless.
I think only Luffy and Jimbei have the strength, skill set and experience to give him a fight. Luffy's skill with haki keeps him going and fairly safe. Jimbei can be at an elemental advantage to counter his magma with seawater, he also has been shown blocking Akainu during the war.
Sanji and Zoro can provide some back-up but are only an inconvenience to him.
I think Akainu would win if you compare his showing against Whitebeard. And how Luffy was swept away by Big Mom.
I don't think it would affect much, but I wonder if Diable Jambe would give Sanji some protection from magma. It's also worth considering if Zoro could use his 1080 Pound Ho and blast away the lava, or something.
