Lol....you keep bringing Hago skill everywhere to hype Sasuke. Its pathetic really. Is this really debatable ? Sasuke is Indra's transmigrant and has Hagoromo's skill.

- The Bijuus silhouette must have represented each of their chakra residing in Naruto, and the Rinnegan may have represented the Sage, whom entrusted Naruto, the Child Of Prophecy to one day guide the Bijuu and stuff.Kishi makes a lot of artistic choices that could be taken literally and still make some sense, but that he probably didn't intend to be taken literally.
Sometimes things you think are literal are actually just representations of what is implied. Remember when the Juubi saw the Bijuu and Rinnegan silhouette behind Naruto? I still don't know exactly what that was representing.
Also, apparently Madara could have subdued Gaara here for a bit, but also chose not to for some reason.

I don't think Hago ever needed to use genjutsu to control the bijuu and Hago just made a remark, he didn't seem surprised by it.Actually, Sasuke's skill with Genjutsu may be above even his. Hagoromo was surprised Sasuke was able to get them all in Genjutsu so easily. We don't know if the base Rinnegan can cast Genjutsu. Genjutsu is the Sharingan's ability.
You keep denying he had Hagoromo's skill which is pathetic. Hagoromo's reaction to Sasuke's genjutsu pretty much confirmed his genjutsu skill is better but Sasuke haters like you will never accept that fact.Lol....you keep bringing Hago skill everywhere to hype Sasuke. Its pathetic really.
I never denied, but kurama making one observation about his chakra merging ability equal to Hago's doesn't mean he has Hago skills lol. That is all I meant. If that's the case than Kurama commented about Naruto's sealing jutsu which he used on Kurama as that of being Hago's again doesn't make him Hago level. You keep denying he had Hagoromo's skill which is pathetic. Hagoromo's reaction to Sasuke's genjutsu pretty much confirmed his genjutsu skill is better but Sasuke haters like you will never accept that fact.
@ bold are you comparing hagoromo's genjutsu skills to sasuke?...since when did hagoromo ever use genjutsu? You keep denying he had Hagoromo's skill which is pathetic. He was obviously surprised, hence the exclamation points.I don't think Hago ever needed to use genjutsu to control the bijuu and Hago just made a remark, he didn't seem surprised by it.
It kinda does. Not saying they're inferior or anythinig in fact they could be superior in many regards but your comparison is very poor.
Exactly, which shows Sasuke is above him in this specific area.@ bold are you comparing hagoromo's genjutsu skills to sasuke?...since when did hagoromo ever use genjutsu?
and sasuke has skill comparible to hagoromo...not hagoromo's skills outright...you misinterpret the manga scan senseisama
That's just part of all Hago is, so no imo.It kinda does. It shows that Sasuke's chakra control is on his level.
So by ur logic there's many ppl who surpass hago because we never seen him use any tech lolHe was obviously surprised, hence the exclamation points.
I was referring to his skill with it in general. Genjutsu casted from Dojutsu is superior to non-Dojutsu Genjutsu. If he himself can't cast Genjutsu with his eyes, then it's likely that Sasuke's Genjutsu is better than his.
It kinda does. It shows that Sasuke's chakra control is on his level.

This. Hence the "glance" part. :sdo:He probably just did a 360.

Does the same thing here with Amaterasu. Anyway I stand by what I said going by the fact that he got them all through a gaze. Imo
No unless he can use sound genjutsu how can he cast an eye tech without eye contact lol and what does size have to do with anything if all is required is eye contact lol but anything to up sasuke also he only got all bijuu because they all were looking in his eyes. He even had to turn around to catch Sakura in a genjutsu he needs eye contact
No, all you did was misinterpret my words as an attempt to downplay Sasuke because you don't want to acknowledge anything in support of him. Dojutsu Genjutsu>Non-Dojutsu Genjutsu. So by ur logic there's many ppl who surpass hago because we never seen him use any tech lol
Ofcourse you would gloss over the multiple other comments that support Sasuke's feat with good logic, and grasp onto this single comment which poorly opposes Sasuke's feat.This. Hence the "glance" part. :sdo:
I feel like it would have shown him spinning if it was to be implied that he spun. "A single glance" can imply many things, including a single glance in a single direction which had an affect on multiple other targets.
And even if he did a full 360, that doesn't guarantee every Bijuu looking directly into his eyes at that exact moment for no reason.
But it's impossible to know which is true, and we won't get a hint until *shudders* the anime shows it.
Hard to say tbh the only thing that makes sense to me is he used Rinnegan genjutsu on 1 tailed beasts and then made the Bijuu cast it on the others. But that's farfetched tbh. So I guess his genjutsu is like a 360 degree technique but you still have to look at said target.
Well except Itachi only used Sharingan genjutsu and a fake Itachi used a finger genjutsu but the user still had to look at his hand. Other than that I never seen otherwise.SenseiSama's comment made good sense of things.

Wasn't Hinata able to let out one last cry for help when being put in MT? :|I don't think the rinnegan genjutsu he used can really be compared to other genjutsu. I say that only because of this scan

Notice in the bottom panel of Kurama he appears to still be struggling to attack Sasuke. If it were more of a traditional "illusionary" genjutsu, like IT or regular Tsukuyomi, his mind shouldn't still be in tact and he shouldn't still be trying to attack Sasuke.
This makes me think that the "genjutsu" Sasuke used wasn't like an actual genjutsu, more like a move specific to his Rinnegan, specifically for suppressing the bijuu's power. Which would explain why he was able to use it on them all at once without having to follow the normal guidelines for genjutsu and why it didn't appear to have the typical effect that other genjutsu usually has on it's victims
EDIT: There was also this scan where Kurama was even able to talk to Naruto and ask for help. Further suggesting that the "genjutsu" wasn't altering their mind state at all, their powers were simply being suppressed.

Then again, it could also mean that Sasuke wasn't adept enough at that point to fully put the genjutsu on all nine bijuu and trap them all in an illusion, so I could be wrong ofcourse
Wasn't that before she was wrapped up in the cocoon? :|Wasn't Hinata able to let out one last cry for help when being put in MT? :|
Well doesn't that just mean that it is simply a Genjutsu like Kaguya's. The first step is to connect to the victim eventually robbing them of movement and consciousness with the end result being complete paralysis, and then places them in an illusion wherein the caster can extract chakra from the victim.Wasn't that before she was wrapped up in the cocoon? :|
If I'm not mistaken, the illusions, aka genjutsu part, doesn't start with MT until you are wrapped up. The initial light casting was never shown to cause any illusionary effects like traditional genjutsu, but rather it physically sedates you so you can be trapped in the cocoon an then the illusions start.
Which further adds to my point so thanks. There's a clear sedative aspect with the Rinnegan that allows the user to suppress you physically without the full on effects of genjutsu that typically alters all 5 of your senses and causes illusions. Kurama and Hinata are both examples of that. It's basically the chakra rod effect (Rinnegan connection right there) just cast through the Rinnegan without the rods.
Thus me saying the Rinnegan Genjutsu Sasuke used probably shouldn't be compared to traditional genjutsu because they don't seem to effect the target in the same way. It's like comparing chakra rods to regular genjutsu
except it was explicitly shown him doing 360 in that scan, if kishi wanted to depict it with the bijjus he would have done so. sasuke just activated it and all the bijjus were caught even the ones behind him and at his side and we know they tower above him so its not really possible for him to spin around, turn his head up and catch all of them then have it called "a glance". makes no senseHe probably just did a 360.

nowhere was it stated he gazed at them all. a "single glance" is what was stated and that could mean one look. 360 is not a single look. There isn't any method of the Sharingan usage to where someone can cast Genjutsu without eye-contact. Unless you're referring to Itachi's Genjutsu mastery to where he learned to place strong Genjutsu with just simple bodily actions.
In terms of how Sasuke caught all Bijuu at once, it's just simply stated that he gazed upon them all. Eye contact is necessarily required unless of course the Genjutsu is the Infinite Tsukuyomi, or activated through other methods (like Kurenai or Itachi's Genjutsu's for instance).
kurama tried to attack him before sasuke casted the genjutsu, after sasuke casted it, all kurama could do was beg for help, it couldnt move, same with the other bijjus. It's hard to tell from the Manda situation, but it appears that unlike the example I gave of Kurama, who had the Rinnegan relfected in his eyes, yet clearly had his mental state in tact by trying to attack Sasuke and being able clearly ask Naruto for help, Manda seemed to be both physically and mentally sedated until the genjutsu ran off.
