Can one have two summoning contracts?

i think there is a limit to how many contracts a shinobi can have and how many he can summon.
May be they need to have afinity towards animals they are summoning like when jiraiya try to summon without contract he was reversed summon to toad mountain and what is stoping naruto from signing contract with slugs.

I once read a really interesting theory on the base that you may be able to assign one hand each for different animals.
E.g. left for hawks and right for snakes (maybe the other way round) for sasuke, and there was a few pics and stuff in the theory and sounds really interesting really.
If I'm not mistaken, (not looked this up for a while) but when the rinnegan summons took place, I vaguely remember the path using both hands in his summons? Maybe not IDK.
But still, its an interesting idea that a contract can be bound to a hand..

sasuke has a snake summoning contract and a hawk summoning contract.

They're no limit unless it in the Sage Mode Summons Snakes and Toads don't normally get along so Sasuke would not get Toad summons nor Naruto Snake/Dragon summons sines they're normally enemies.

I doubt he did, he simply didn't want to use hawk while fighting Juubi at the battlefield...
Prime example of using different summons is Nagato.

Rinnegan summons aren't contract summons.
