can neji's hakkeshou kaiten jutsu(rotation jutsu) counter sasuke's ameratsu?

but he could make distractions and then stop spinning without burned

A more important question, could Nejis beyakugan protect him from MS genjutsu?

Since they are both just varations of the rinnigan I would think so.

If nothing else he's probably capable of dispelling the genjutsu since he could easily see it coming.

The good thing is with the mizukages guy with the byuakugan, we might actually get to see a fight between him and sasuke! That would be soo badass!

Interesting question. If Neji were already halfway through Rotation, I'm guessing it will spin along with the rotation, saving Neji.

Of course it hasn't, like in Killerbees case.. since Bijuus are chakra ;/

Well.....I highly doubt it since ameterasu can eat through chakra and set aflame anything the user looks at....So I don't think Neji (or any byakugan user) would have a chance against ameterasu, tsukiyomi or a sharingan period.

the answer is no, since kaiten is just parrying incomming attacks and deflecting the force elsewhere, and so far we have only seen it work agains't physical attacks, amaterasu is a elemental attack. So a no vote from me.
