if we look at the sales its clear which have the upper hand

Why can't i compared them ? they're both the same genre and compete in the same field, and try to appeal the same audiences.
because when you compare things you dont only compare things in the same genre or field but things which are nearly equal quality wise.

And yet One Piece neg diff Dragon when it comes to sales....
please no bashing we are here to discuss Naruto, i only bring One Piece and Dragon Ball as comparison.
Well of course One piece will have more sales than DBZ its an old show and for the people who watched it have already seen it plenty of times.........But OT: Naruto was getting to a great point. But i do think the series could have finished a little bit better. It is like DBZ in the sense where the ending story line decreases in entertainment compared to the earlier writings.

Actually from what I herad in USA and europe Naruto is one of the top manga and is more popular than one piece. It's a different story with japan though. One piece is far ahead of Naruto in japan

Then again its the Japanese readers/viewers who have the final say when it comes to which one is legendary and which not
i think only time decides who can become legend and who not.

and for your information One Piece ruled the manga Market in Asia,Europe and their sales is neck to neck with AOT in the US
source please? ( i'm serious)

DBZ is a anime/manga legend through out the world. One Piece is very popular in Japan and somewhat popular around the world(but seriously over-hyped IMO). Naruto is probably going to end as one of the most well remembered series worldwide, not in DBZ's league, but in the same league as One Piece.

Naruto is more popular than One Piece WorldWide, by a lot.

I won't even talk about the popularity of Dragon Ball Z WorldWide.

And OP sells so much above DBZ is because DBZ was over a long time ago, everyone saw it in the past man, and Anime wasn't such a "Huge" deal as right now back in DBZ Prime days.

Naruto has the most interesting story to me out of all Mangas and Animes I've seen ( There's a lot ), so it is legendary in a way, I like Badass Characters like Madara, and the whole story is/was very well written, because currently, with Kaguya introduced Naruto is nowhere near Legendary in Story, it went DOWNHILL so much compared to it's prime. So Kishimoto has to step it up and End the Series in the right way.

On the other hand why is One Piece "Legendary". It has terrible, terrible drawing style, like everything is so ugly there, the story is kinda appealing, but get's repetetive, maybe that's just because the Anime/Manga is so old and it's been going for so many years and unlike Naruto it got real Boring real Fast. Also the Character telling there is strange, for example in my Eyes Luffy is nowhere decent Main Character.

One piece has been on for around 18 years , and it's only halfway done... it doesn't get more legendary then that.
It already got boring and repetetive, do you really think people will read that for 18 more years?

Obviously not, something like Sword Art Online or Attack on Titan will take all those fans and roll away with them for a new story, entertaining story that will go on for 15 years.

No. Naruto is nearing its end, if it were to ever reach that status, it would have already.

As for One Piece vs Dragonball?

One Piece has surpassed Dragonball in Manga Sales in Japan...

However, Dragonball is MUCH more recognisable world-wide then One Piece and any other anime/manga series for that matter with the exception of Pokemon and maybe Sailor Moon. That was always the most amazing part of the series, it was big in Japan but humongous world-wide. Dragonball has a true legacy, don't compare them please, it's not even close. Dragonball hit the west in the 90s and the Anime scene exploded - It was big everywhere, literally everywhere.

The fact that the series is still one of the most discussed out there, games still coming out, movies several years after the series finished is quite telling to the effect it had.

SAO and AOT are shit though, they are what we call 'fads'. They won't be popular in 5 years.
