Can Naruto go above 4/5 tails?

Of course. He's been able to go four tails, why not more? Problem is, should he reach five tails, it may be entirely too late to save him unless Yamato is on the scene.

well, he even took out the toad sage w/ just 4 tails, and was even able to pwn orichimaru. if he went to 5 tailss, i doubt yamato would even have the chance to do anything b4 naruto killed him

imo i think he could hit 8 tails by hmiself but when 9 come out thats when the actual kyuubi comes out

I dont think his body can hand 4 tails for too long without possibly permanently damaging Naruto's body if not killing him, but many more tails should kill him due to too much bodily damage from the kyuubis juice. Eventhough Kyuubi's chakra heals him, that state does too much damage for the healing to even have it's usual speedy effect. I think that 4 tails looks weird anyway. I would like it if his face sorta just strectched out more and etc..., like in the movies when people begin to turn into wherewolves. I dont really like the artificial jackolanter mouth. Three tails is good enough for me. Or was it 2? That time with Kakashi while chasing Deidara. I really liked how Naruto looked in that state.

I think he can't go 9 tails without the other half. Kyuubi ain't complete without his whole chakra, right?
As for going above 4 tails, I'm not sure.

nope he can go 9-tails without the other half, there was a theory on the yin and yang side of the kyuubi attacking konoha and being used in madaras fight with shodaime, and they both had 9-tails. Furthermore, we heard sora's dad saying that sora would eventually become the actual kyuubi given time so i think its highly possible that he can grow up to nine tails. ^^

I know what you mean but each bijuu has different personalities e.g. gaara's was a psycho, 2-tails was fierce but controlled, and the kyuubi is almost pure evil. So i think there is a big difference, each bijuu may need the host to show a certain level of power in order for them to respect the host as seen with the 8-tails who actually trains with his beast, maybe naruto needs to go down the same path in order to have more control over the 9-tails

The frog that came out of Jiraiya is has the key to reinforce the seal Naruto has on him incase it happens to weakened. It can open or close the seal. There's too many different things going on now, Kisi needs to make a chapter where he clarifies things up.

We saw how he was injured and exhausted due to the 4 tails Kyuubi .... so , If he went or will go for more the pressure on his body will be more massive and cause him fatal injuries and if he went for 9 tails there will be no more Naruto ....

4 tails already burns his skin over and over again, if he were to go beyond that, I would imagine that the chakra would burn straight through to his bone, killing him in the process.
He would be hella strong for that one moment though.

forgetting about sage mode though, say if naruto were to go sage mode then ask the fox "lend me your power" the fox might see this as a way of getting out due to the enhanced regeneration in sage mode, it would only get the fox closer to his goal of being full released, i think naruto will have this big mental battle with the fox in the end... after all

First of all Naruto is not going to get the yin chakra because Minato sealed that into himself and the yang inside Naruto. The Yin and Yang Kyuubi are like two different foxes so that means Naruto can reach 9 tails.

I guess the only way he could control 9 tails would be if he uses sage mode to supress the fox's power or Itachi gave Naruto the power to take control of the fox.

I think he can go 9-tails i mean, he's Naruto the main character. Also we've seen the 8-tails complete in the manga, why can't he? Naruto can go 9-tails, but like Jiraiya said the Fourths Seal-technique is weakening.

We have 2 wait and watch. I know for sure that that episode will come
