can naruto become Hokage eventrhough he is a Genin??

Naruto will become Hokage bcuz its his dream from the very first moment of his story. In the manga Kakashi was Hokage for a short period of time bcuz Tsunade was knocked out.

kakashi was never a hokage he was ALMOST hokage but at the last moment tsunade woke up!

and you need to be smart in tacticks like shikamaru and then strong like naruto but naruto is a idioit he needs to get his ass kicked

Well I think that naruto skips all those titles and he automatically becomes a sage. Now he is a sage I think he can be elligble for hokage.

Naruto is not an idiot at this moment, If he would he wouldn't have killed kakuzu, killed pain. Or even: If the was dumb He would have ran over and hugged Sakura when she said she "loved" himm Another thing, if he was an idiot he wouldn't have realised that something is wrong , and wouldn't have followed Kakashi using his sage mode unfortunately, the only idiot i see now is Sasuke, with his lust for power. First of all it’s true that Naruto killed all the other bodies But Nagato believed in him so Nagato let him win (He revived every one in Konoha)
As for Kakashi he is definitely strong

Nagato didnt let Naruto win. He saw the kindness and purity of Naruto's heart(way of the ninja) and with his last hunk of chakra he brought all the villagers back to life. Naruto woulda crushed him if Nagato wouldve fought with him.

As far as Naruto becoming Hokage, he has the power but i dont believe he has the tactical/intellectual skills to lead an entire village. He's still quite a goofball reguardless of power. Give it a couple years.

The only thing that doesn't quallify Naruto to become Hokage yet (in my oppinion) is his ability to make tough decisions. Naruto's definetly strong enough to become Hokage right now and as far as his battle intellegence, it's at a high level. Makeing decisions for the village, he'd probably get help from Kakashi or Shikamaru with things like that (by makeing them advisors and getting rid of the two old punk ass Danzo wanna be's). However he needs to know how to let go of certian things like Sasuke...His ass needs to die and the sooner Naruto can see that the better. Altough he kind of does now but his resolve was to have to two of them die together, which I don't find logical at all. Me persanolly I would try for a good couple of years to help him, therapy, interventions. If that dosn't work then it's onto tough love and kill one to protect millions. Naruto still is very idealistic, which is alright as long as it dosn't interfear with the well being of the village he's trying to lead and protect. Now if he can save Sasuke that's all well and good but if he can't make the tough decisions he'll never be a good Hokage.

I think the title of Hokage is not achievable by promotions or something like that, is only a matter of a group of people suggesting who they think could protect and preside over Konoha the better, and the feudal lord deciding upon it. So in theory, Naruto could be Hokage even if he's only a gennin, he would have to be suggested by someone, and be consider the right person for the job... Oh and previous hokage has to retire or die.

I think that's how it work with the third and fourth Hokage, the third retire, the fourth was named Hokage, but after the fourth's death the third return to the position. I, for my part, prefer it when they die, but I'm evil like that

shikimaru took the chuunin exams twice we all know no one made it to chuunin in their first chuunin exams
