can naruto become Hokage eventrhough he is a Genin??

I have heard something about Kakashi being a Hokage
Naruto's dream is to be a Hokage

a hokage needs to be strong in order to protect the Konoha Village.
Naruto is stronger than Kakashi, Kakashi stated that himself (Naruto killed Pain, kakashi was beated by only Tendo-pain)

why isn't Naruto a Hokage when it is his dream.

Naruto will become Hokage bcuz its his dream from the very first moment of his story. In the manga Kakashi was Hokage for a short period of time bcuz Tsunade was knocked out.

No he couldn't ... you need huge amounts of chakra in order to be able to take in natural energy. And we all know that that's not kakashi's strongest point now don't we?
And i don't think it matters ... if the current hokage chooses you as his/her successor then that's that... maybe you still need to get approved by the elders... but Naruto has the support of the whole village after he saved it so many times.

No naruto won, fair and square. He beat all the Six Paths of pain, and the seventh pain is very weak. it was only Konan and Nagato that he has to kill (he was in sage-mode)

Yeah and the only reason kakawshi knows so much jutsus is his sharingan?

Now that is how i fight fire with fire with you guys, Kakashi can not learn sage mode, due to his limited chakraPlease stop being immature, saying that naruto is only strong because of the sage mode/ fox, Sasuke is only strong cuz of the sharingan , Madara is only strong cuz of therhinnengan/ sharingan, Gaara is only strong cuz of his sand. U all r forgetting 1 thing..naruto can become the hokage easily, his lvl is above-hokage.but naruto himself regrets being the hokage.WHY? becuz naruto believes that someone who cannto even save 1 friend(sasuke) is not worthy of becoming hokage....if naruto ever rescues and saves sasuke (i hope) then he will become the hokage.. and im sure everone will approve him as the hokage as he killed pain and saved the entire village.

First of all it’s true that Naruto killed all the other bodies But Nagato believed in him so Nagato let him win (He revived every one in Konoha)
As for Kakashi he is definitely strong
(Not every one who has power knows how to use it) & Kakashi absolutely great

Becomin' Hokage is mostly due to achievements and legacy! The ninja -level is barely accounted.

What counts is his exploits (Naruto saved the village against Gaara and Pain) and his legacy (son of 4th Hokage, trained by his father's pupil and one of the Legendary Sannin)

Ok if Naruto is stronger then Kakashi but must have some Intelligence to be hokage and thats why Naruto need to work on.
