lol well you could be right or more likely they made a deal i think it was mentioned in the manga actually about just destroying the uchiha anyway Itachi admitted he was used by Tobi to some extent Nagato also however Pain was the officila leader of the akatsaki and had his own plans if they didnt fit together im sure Nagato would of had no use for him think about it out of the relationship who had more to gain from the other Tobi thats why he suggested to pain go to konoha and capture the nine tails this is how kishi made it Tobi never ordered him he always suggested things just like the weasel he is

yeah its really sad because i actually think Itachi is awesome but in these 'wars' you have to choose a side and i choose the actually right side and the reason i chose this side because no matter what anyone says Nagato is probably the strongest in the manga so far thats why its easy being a Nagato fan its much harder being a fan of weaker characters dodai is a prime example

You are right, Madara took over after he got rid of Pain and Itachi. Madara manipulated everything from the Shadows lol, out smarted Itachi and played along with Nagato and semi-used him.

Let me clarify that. I don't hate Nagato BECAUSE he KILLED Jiraiya, no, I was sad when Jiraiya died but still respected Nagato/Pain for trying to establish peace through his own way. However, when he TALKS to Naruto and CHANGES his mind, while it was a beautiful ending to a nice and sad story, I also got pissed because of the fact that he KILLED Jiraiya and later CHANGED his mind... so Jiraiya died for nothing.

Also, killing your own sensei who loved you is the lowest of the low, especially in martial arts. I could understand why Sasuke killed Orochimaru, because Orochimaru was planning to use Sasuke for his own interest, so Sasuke betraying him was reasonable. However, Jiraiya loved Nagato, cared for him, trained him, thaught him and in the end Nagato kills Jiraiya because he is convinced that his "way" to obtain peace is better than Jiraiya's, yet after a while when he talks with naruto he "changes his mind" and go's like: "shouldn't have killed Jiraiya, he died for nothing LOL". That is what really sucked.

From story perspective it was an ace, 10/10 story. From my personal feelings and taste, Nagato shouldn't have killed Jiraiya and even if he did, he shouldn't change his mind and abandon the ideology which caused him to kill his Sensei... sigh, hope you understand what I mean.

Even Nagato admitted that he was garbage, a total failure, right before he was getting sealed away. He dishonered everything Jiraiya thaught him, he dishonored everything he once fougth and believed in.

What caused Nagato to end up like that? Hanzo of the Salamander, so in a way I should hate Hanzo aswell lol.

Exactly a lot of fanboys of other characters make me sound like I hate Itachi or sasuke for instance when I really don't (there both in my top 5). It wasn't Nagato's fault, It was Hanzo who turned him into what he became, and Hanzo turned him into that because he accepted Danzo's offer, when they banded together and made Nagato kill Yahiko. More reasons why I HATE Danzo. I don't hate Hanzo the Salamander, but after this discussion and a bit thinking I am not Neutral about him anymore, dislike Hanzo of the Salamander a bit now, but he is still badass lol.
