Can Minato get caught In genjutsu ?

So, we're here. To all of you claiming that Minato can be trapped by a genjutsu, please support your claim showing that Minato is weak against genjutsu. Until proven, we can say that Minato can't be trapped by a genjutsu. We'll use Tobi vs Minato as an example. Tobi failed to use genjutsu several times. I was the one who said that he can't be trapped in a genjutsu because this is more logical than saying Tobi DID NOT ATTEMPT TO USE IT. It defeats Tobi's purpose/plan of attacking the village.

Try to ask yourself why didn't he attempt to use genjutsu? Can you find an answer to that? Do you think it is reasonable enough that he rather chose to be defeated by Minato than using genjutsu on MInato. Come on, genjutsu are their advantage over the others. HE was able to use it on kyuubi and yagura. Why not on Minato?

Just look at this way. Tobi's plan was to destroy the village that's why he needed the fox. Minato destroyed his plan. If Tobi was wise enough, he will control Minato and order him to destroy the village alongside kyuubi. If he was able to do this, his plan would definitely be a success.

Isn't it odd why he chose not to use it? Is there a logical reason as to why he didn't use it? If this is the case then it defeats his purpose of destroying the village. It doesn't make sense at all. Just try to ask yourself why he didn't attempt to use it. I bet you can't find an answer to that.

So because we have never seen Minato get hit by a genjutsu, it means he is immune? So everyone who we havn't seen get hit from genjutsu is immune?
You are the one making the claim, so you have to bring up evidence to back your point. I wouldn't mind if Minato was immune to genjutsu, but saying "Why didn't Tobi use it on him then" is such a poor excuse. Why didn't Madara use it against the 5 Kage? Why has Kakashi never used it? why didn't Itachi use it against KM Naruto? Why didn't Tobi use it on Fu and Torune? Why didn't Itachi use it on Nagato? Why didn't Tobi use it at the 5 Kage summit? Why hasn't Tobi used it against Killer Bee, Naruto, Guy or Kakashi? The list goes on. Controlling beasts is different to casting a genjutsu on humans. Hashirama could control beasts yet he never had the Sharingan. If a simple Sharingan could control beasts, then the whole Uchiha clan could have stopped the 9 tails attack easily.
If you want to prove Minato is immune to genjutsu, explain how genjutsu works using the manga. Then explain what is causing Minato to be immune to it using the manga. Take a look at my thread for example:

. It might not be right, but atleast I had backed up my claim with proof from the manga, and so far I cannot see anything that disproves it. Don't just say "Tobi didn't use it on him so he is immune", that is such poor evidence.

Tobi has the ability to warp others into another dimension.

As soon as he entered the room where minato,naruto and kushina were. He couldve warped minato there and then and yet he didnt.

Similarly tobi couldve won the war even before it started. He couldve stalked the kage's and teleported all of them to another dimension one by one. Then his plan would go smoothly.

What im trying to say is that tobi couldve done alot more, but due to the plot he cannot.

Of course he can. There is only one tool that allows its user to see through genjutsu from the very start - mastered Sharingan, at least three-tomoe. Aside from that, nothing more. Even perfect Jinjuuriki can be affected, Bijuu just snaps them out of it. Minato dont have friendly Bijuu inside of him, nor he has Sharingan - he isnt immune.

That's my question. Even a perfect jinchuriki was controlled by Tobi. Why not on MINATO? It's a simple question yet none of you have answered.

Secondly as i said he didnt use genjutsu on danzo's bodyguards. Going by what you say they are immune to it. He didnt use genjutsu on konan. Going by what you say she is immune to it.

He didnt use genjutsu on kabuto who put him in a tight corner, going by what you say kabuto is immune to genjutsu

To be honest, I was asking that question to myself. Why Tobi didn't use genjutsu on Minato but I can't find an answer to that because that reason defeats Tobi's purpose. My claim will be supported by my theory but I bet you won't take it.

Anyway going by what you say, all the ninja's tobi has encountered are also immune to genjutsu or his warping ability.

You are correct. This type of questions can be answered by speculation. This is what we're doing now. All of us are speculating!! But we should consider the most logical reason.
