Dont listen to ajpn920. He also claims Minato had Yin-Yang release and he is from the Senju clan. Its best just to ignore him.
Minato is a very strong Shinobi already, we don't need to go overpowering him. Let Kishi do that if he wants.

I don't know why he'd be immune to it. The only people immune to genjutsu are perfect jinchuuriki.

we can say that Minato can't be trapped by a genjutsu. Take his fight with Tobi as an example. Why would a proficient genjutsu user like Tobi failed to use his sharingan on Minato? He failed not once but many times. He was planning to destroy Konoha but why didn't he use his advantage? It doesn't make sense.

this is the most ridiculous statement I've ever read in my entire life in NB

Do we have any evidence? No.
Therefore, for now, we can say no he is not.

^ This.

Lol Anybody can get caught in a genjutsu. Why would Minato be any different. The real question is how fast can he break from a genjutsu.

he can get caught in it but the likelyhood of him being caught in anything less then tsukuyomi is very low

Yes, he can be caught but any shinobi worth his sort knows how to counter and dispel genjutsu. It all comes down to how fine ur control of chakra is. That is why against powerful shinobi most genjutsu users don't bother to even cast it.

So, we're here. To all of you claiming that Minato can be trapped by a genjutsu, please support your claim showing that Minato is weak against genjutsu. Until proven, we can say that Minato can't be trapped by a genjutsu. We'll use Tobi vs Minato as an example. Tobi failed to use genjutsu several times. I was the one who said that he can't be trapped in a genjutsu because this is more logical than saying Tobi DID NOT ATTEMPT TO USE IT. It defeats Tobi's purpose/plan of attacking the village.

Try to ask yourself why didn't he attempt to use genjutsu? Can you find an answer to that? Do you think it is reasonable enough that he rather chose to be defeated by Minato than using genjutsu on MInato. Come on, genjutsu are their advantage over the others. HE was able to use it on kyuubi and yagura. Why not on Minato?

Just look at this way. Tobi's plan was to destroy the village that's why he needed the fox. Minato destroyed his plan. If Tobi was wise enough, he will control Minato and order him to destroy the village alongside kyuubi. If he was able to do this, his plan would definitely be a success.

Isn't it odd why he chose not to use it? Is there a logical reason as to why he didn't use it? If this is the case then it defeats his purpose of destroying the village. It doesn't make sense at all. Just try to ask yourself why he didn't attempt to use it. I bet you can't find an answer to that.

Such non sense. What you fail to get is that its all plot no jutsu in motion.
Tobi has the ability to warp others into another dimension.

As soon as he entered the room where minato, naruto and kushina were. He couldve warped minato there and then and yet he didnt.

Similarly tobi couldve won the war even before it started. He couldve stalked the kage's and teleported all of them to another dimension one by one. Then his plan would go smoothly.

What im trying to say is that tobi couldve done alot more, but due to the plot he cannot.

Of course he can. There is only one tool that allows its user to see through genjutsu from the very start - mastered Sharingan, at least three-tomoe. Aside from that, nothing more. Even perfect Jinjuuriki can be affected, Bijuu just snaps them out of it. Minato dont have friendly Bijuu inside of him, nor he has Sharingan - he isnt immune.

Come on man. Just prove me wrong! I can defend those claims based on the info I have. Be open minded because what I said makes sense. If there are part of my theory that you feel incorrect, please feel free to tell me because I am open to any advice.

Minato has nothing that would allow him to be immune to genjutsu, see my post above yours.
