Can Itachi beat Nagato on his own ?

But you forget Nagato was also Edo, giving him a bigger advantage since his jutsu require more chakra than Itachi's.

Bee and Naruto were there from the start, so of course they would attack as well. Realistically speaking, as an Edo Itachi could have saved the chitchat if those 2 weren't there and just spammed Yasaka Magatama 2 more times. He was an Edo, it's not like he'd lack the chakra or stamina to do that at the time.

Itachi will be beated up hands down.. and i did like itachi before fapboys ruined that good character.. but even hes great skills. Nagato is WAY too other league for him..

it Didn't at all Nagato wasn't able to walk and i had not forgot that nagato was edo.

Itachi's strong and one of my favorites but if he were to face fully mobile Nagato he would get slaughtered. If he were to go up against the 6 paths of pain or crippled Nagato I say he would have a chance.
Wrong, Nagato didn't have a bigger advantage, edo's chakra gets depleted like living except edo's are weaker than when they were alive. Itachi actually have the bigger advantage since he didn't have to worry about his stamina or illness that prevented alive Itachi from lasting in long fights. Itachi doesn't know all of Nagato's jutsus or all of their weaknesses, he only seen CT and even then he asked Naruto and Bee to help with their strongest jutsus and remember, Edo's are proven to be weaker than when alive.
Too bad Nagato's summonings will allow Nagato to use shared vision and see all angles, if Itachi tries blinding them with his shuriken jutsus or Amaterasu then deva path will just stop the attacks and since Nagato is using it himself, the jutsus are much faster and stronger and if they were near instant as a edo which was stated to be weaker then when alive then alive Nagato jutsus would be much much faster and stronger.
Bird summon will be dropping bombs on Itachi and he can't keep Susanoo up long since his illness makes the already damaging side effects if Susanoo deadly to Itachi. Itachi's vision is blurry as is and he has low stamina. Nagato shown to sense when Itachi focuses chakra into his eyes so don't see any surprise MS jutsus coming. Deva path knocked back 3 giant toad which each are the size of Susanoo miles away from him and as I explained above, Nagato using the jutsus would be much powerful.
Nagato can pull Itachi in with deva path and pull out his soul, 2 jutsus Itachi doesn't have much or any knowledge on. He also knows sealing jutsus as he was the one to put seals in his path's minds and was really hard for Ino's dad to bypass and he's probably the best at it. Even ask Edos, they still have to worry about depleting chakra so Itachi can't really spam anything for long, Minato, Tobirama and Hashirama all made reference to chakra running out or being low after all and they all have more than Itachi haha
Nagato will also be in control of his body this time and will have his summonings to use shared vision, We all know Kabuto was focusing on Naruto and Bee with Nagato when Itachi got his Summonings since that's all he cared about but that's not the case in a 1 on 1 plus Nagato wouldn't be trying to catch them like Kabuto originally planned. Amaterasu gets absorbed, repelled or evade with, we know Nagato can sense Amaterasu and with his shared vision, all summons will see it coming too, we see Pain easily counter and evaded Jiraiya's attacks without even looking and that's in SM.
Maybe if Itachi had full intel then he could try out smarting Nagato but Nagato isn't dumb either, he did just find against Jiraiya who is battle smart, has more battle experience, more stamina, knowledge on Nagato, same base stats as Itachi and has more variety of jutsus than Itachi and has sound genjutsu which it the only known type of genjutsus that Nagato is weak against.
