if a MS user had hagaromo chakra would they MS still evolve to Rinnegan or you gotta have EMS first?

Sharingan is just a tool to see chakra in colour and that is why it can read the secret on the stone.

He put back his original eyes and then awakened his rinnegan then gave it to nagato as a kid. The EMS eyes were the impanted eyes from his brother.

Also, his original eyes could still refer to Izuna's eyes when we take into consideration how the Rinnegan are technically his, so they can be considered his own eyes as what he gave to Nagato was his Rinnegan.

The rinnegan was the result of mixing Indra and Asura's chakra's. So i don't think EMS was really needed.

Nowhere is it stated you Need EMS first, theres nothing special about EMS other than you don't suffer the side effects anymore.

Also its not Hagoromos Chakra that gives you Rinnegan, if that were the case Obito, Naruto, and Karachi would have had it as well.

In order to unlock Rinnegan you need to combine the chakras of Indras incarnate and Ashuras incarnate, then be near death.

The reason Sasuke has it is because Hashirama gave him his Chakra before he got stabbed by Madara, the only thing he received from Hagoromo was the Moon Seal.

If they get ahold of some Ashura chakra combined with the Indra Chakra that the transmigrants already have you have awoken your Rinnegan. EMS is not a requirement for Rinnegan. As a person stated already, Madara sacrificed his right EMS eye to Transcipt Seal Izanagi, so he implanted his original MS eye in his socket and awoke Rinnegan from there.

The EMS never became the rinnegan is what I'm saying. Izuna's eyes is what Madara told Obito that were his spare eyes because he used his right eye for Izanagi. Old Madara in the cave only has his left eye like he did here.

EDIT: My bad, I didn't read what you said correctly. And I thought in the manga he referred to his (Izuna) eyes as spares but yeah they're technically his.

It was well known considering the fact that those were the only eyes he ever mentioned to implanted. He also told Obito that he wouldn't mind stocking up on some more eyes meaning he didn't have any other. For him to have only three eyes in his possession means that one of his eyes must have went blind.

No they would only have EMS feats without going blind like Indra and DMS Kakashi. To awaken the Rinnegan you need Ashura's chakra, Sasuke's the exception because he received Hagoromo's chakra which already contains Ashura's.

As others have said, Kabuto was wrong in assuming the Rinnegan was evolved from the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. They are two completely different eye powers that have nothing to do with each other. The only requirement is to naturally have Hagoromo's chakra.
