This doesn't make sense. Once you go blind you're blind and you can't use that eye anymore. Tobi and Itachi made this very clear since the beginning of shippuden.

I don't think it's required to have EMS. EMS is simply the answer to stopping an Uchiha from loosing the light in their eyes.

Rinnegan comes from having both Ashura and Indra chakra.

Madara going blind was a lie that Itachi told Sasuke as an excuse to get his eyes. And again, believing that Madara had any other eyes besides MS and EMS is a fanfiction. The Uchiha massacre happened way until after Madara's death and Tobi was the one that stocked up on them, not Madara.
