I am meeting the Army Recruiter on Monday, and I really want to join the military. I want to go to basic training ASAP.
I was diagnosed with depression five or six years ago because my mother wanted me to go to the doctor because I didn't like where we lived. They gave me anti-depressants and all that. But my depression wasn't really anything serious that would include things like self harm or suicide. I was always complaining about my life because I was a spoiled kid who didn't like to be told what to do about my stepdad.
Five or six years ago I stopped using the antidepressants.
Is there a possibility that I may still qualify to join the United States Army? I really, truly want to join in order to better myself and better my future and to serve my country. I will leave that I need to discipline and training in order to be a better person.
