Am I gonna miss anything, I mean I just watched an awesome arc in alabaster and then this boring (Imo) arc came about after the filler.

Should I skip it or am I gonna miss big info that I need to know abt?

I also found Skypea less entertaining, it moved a bit slower. Yet there are very important parts in there:

1. Jaya Island with the whole Dreams vs "Reality"
2. The Norlen the Liar story
3. Search for Romance.
4. The Upwards Stream (epic)
5. Enter Blackbeard, awesome character (Not in this order xd)
6. The Sky Island was awesome, like a dream come true. Learning about it's culture was awesome too.
7. The fights moved very slowly, although the idea itself was quite good.
8. The ending was epic EPIC

In the end, looking back on the arc it was great and awesome. Going through it though, is less amusing and hard sometimes. Do not skip it, I do not recommend skipping anything canon, and since people told me the fillers are awesome too, I guess I don't recommend skipping anything at all, but the canon parts, don't do it.

I hated
SPOILER ALERT
how they didnt leave with the gold
How would they even carry that big thing into their boat? The Strawhats mistaking it for a cannon is just plot convenience.

For battlewhores, these are some things you might want to see.

- Zoro uses Pound Cannon for the first time
- Robin gets her first fight
- Dial Combat (Usopp's way of improving)
- Chopper gets his first solo fight
- Sanji outwits the big bad of the arc

It's a little slow since it's good old adventure, unlike Alabasta where it's politics, trickery, and fighting throughout.

Oh and some shipping moments if you're into those.

SPOILER ALERT

They did actually. And they took it out of the stomach of a giant serpent over 300 years old which passed out due to too much partying. How awesomer can it get?
SPOILER ALERT

I mean the part of the golden bell that the skypieans were going to give to the SH

It's not advised skipping it, considering what's in it. There's lots of stuff for everyone, but one thing people didn't really point out.
The poneglyph Robin finds with stuff from Gold Roger

skypia is the best example to know about what "HAKI" is exactly and how it is used. This is well an important part in the future of one piece battle techniques. Watch it.

No, you can't. Mantra and the poneglyph are important to the plot, so you can't skip it. There was a thread before that explained that in detail, look it up if interested, but don't skip it. Plus, it's just stupid, Skypiea is awesome. Luffy vs Enel is a kickass fight.
