Can Healthy Itachi beat SM Hashirama?

How do you beat anyone with a shield? Either get around it, or get it away from them.
1. Sage Hashirama likely has the strength to pull it away from Itachi, Wood Man should, and Buddha definitely does.
2. Hashirama uses Mokuton to wrap around Susanoo and make it so Susanoo can't move, that way it can't block anything.
3. Hashirama makes Mokuton grow beneath Itachi's feet inside of Susanoo and completely bypass Yata.

Itachi burns mokuton with Amaterasu or Yasaka Magatama to dust

Madara and Itachi has completely different MS abilities. Madara doesn't have Amaterasu nor Tsukuyomi. Hashirama has no counter to Itachi's tsukuyomi as he's not an Uchiha, nor Hashirama has any dojutsu

that statement contradicts the manga and the other databook statement about yata.

And if we are taking statements at face value, then Sandaime raikage's body = strongest shield > Yaata. Kakashi's raikiri cuts through anything > Yaata. A wind blade can be stopped by no one > yaata. amaterasu burns as hot as the sun. No one can survive 50% FRS. amaterasu can't be dodged.

Yata only stops attacks that touches it, but specifically attacks.

You're going to have to prove Totsuka can do that.

That doesn't change the fact that they both have Sharingans, which by default allows them to use genjutsu. If Hashi can get out of a Genjutsu cast by Madara, I'm damn sure he can get out of one cast by Itachi.
