I don't think so. Hashiramas "wood" will push Itachi out of his susano (like Gaara did with Madara). I also think Hashirama knows about Yata / Totsuka since he grew up in a time of war where everybody was seeking for power. Maintaining Susano'o will also decrease Itachis chakra reserves really fast + he cannot see through Hashiramas Wood clones

Still: I would love to see that battle

how about attacking from behind or below. hashirama has plenty of experience with fighting susanoo users. he fought the best susanoo user many times in madara. so i doubt this will be a problem for him to figure out and counter. even danzo his first time seeing susanoo attacked the weak spot he found.

How do you beat anyone with a shield? Either get around it, or get it away from them.
1. Sage Hashirama likely has the strength to pull it away from Itachi, Wood Man should, and Buddha definitely does.
2. Hashirama uses Mokuton to wrap around Susanoo and make it so Susanoo can't move, that way it can't block anything.
3. Hashirama attacks Itachi from behind, and has several options for doing so: Wood Clone, Wood man, Wood Dragon, etc.
4. Hashirama makes Mokuton grow beneath Itachi's feet inside of Susanoo and completely bypass Yata.

How does that description imply hashirama can't get past Yata Mirror? Not only that, but that statement contradicts the manga and the other databook statement about yata.

And if we are taking statements at face value, then Sandaime raikage's body = strongest shield > Yaata. Kakashi's raikiri cuts through anything > Yaata. A wind blade can be stopped by no one > yaata. amaterasu burns as hot as the sun. No one can survive 50% FRS. amaterasu can't be dodged.
