Can Dust Cloud Technique blow away mist?

Can Asuma's Dust Cloud technique, the one he used against Ino-Shika-Cho when he was an edo blow away the hidden mist jutsu?

As you can see, the jutsu seems to be a long and narrow laser like attack. I think that it would just make a small but very long narrow hole in the mist that the mist would soon fill in. Also, I dont think this tech can be spammed all over by Asuma because the tech requires such chakra control and velocity, its evident that it would take a good amount of chakra to use

I dont see how, its not like Temari's Wind Slythe Jutsu that blows high speed wind in every direction, Dust Cloud is so much more focused and narrow, I doubt it

it wouldnt go in any direction, its a laser chakra focused move, its not going to affect every direction where the mist is, itll make a hole.

no it wont, and physics has nothing to do with naruto

I agree that it will make a hole in the mist allowing Asuma to see what is in front of him for a few seconds. If Asuma spins around while using that technique it might actually blow away the mist though what do you think?

I think it will drain a lot of his chakra, however I guess it's possible, but then the mist will move back in, the speed of it moving back in depends on how thick the user makes it
