[Discussion] Can current Kenpachi "beat" current Ichigo?

Current Kenpachi finally got the name of his Zanpakuto, nevertheless he would be getting a Shikai and Bankai.

But current Ichigo has gotten some major power-up's with his new Zanpakuto and all.

So what do you guys think?

Current Ichigo > Current Kenpachi?

or

Current Kenpachi > Current Ichigo?

Ichigo is stronger due too his hybrid genes Quincy n shinigami blood. But there's no doubt kenpachi can go up against the best of em. Basically there strong in their own ways and weak in their own ways.

As of right now id say Ichigo is at the top at his current state. Until Kenpachi gets his shikai and bankai he will over throw Ichigo in strength. Until Ichigo uses his new bankai or even a newer version of a surpassed evolutionary state such as the Final Getsuga Tensho.

Kenpachi's only weakness is living and unintentionally capping his strength. Without dying or coming near death he cant become stronger and cant remeber how to harness more of his rampant power.

Ichigo is stronger than Kenpachi. Kenpachi with Shikai won't change that, not when Ichigo just got his true shikai/bankai + quincy powers (vollstanding ? maybe he can use both at the same time since he's an hybrid)

At the end of the day this is really the last power ups either characters are going to get since this is the final arc of Bleach.

And when you use common sense, this story revolves around Ichigo not Kenpachi so Ichigo is always going to be the one that defeats the 'main/strongest' enemy in the arc and it doesn't matter how much of Kenpachi fanboy you are or Ichigo fanboy you are either since that's just the way the plot roles.

Kenpachi is the name given to the strongest 'Shinigami' and I think we can all agree Ichigo is more of a transcendent being when he's at his fullest.

So end of the day Current Ichigo > Current Kenpachi.

this thread is useless since we dont know what either of them can do....but my opinion is that they are at the same level simply because neither of them beat the other in their previous fight and then, neither was using their true ability!!!!

p.s KENPACHI WILL NEVER GET BANKAI...that will destroy his character and nuke the whole bleachverse!!!!

But Ichigo has the potential to become a transcended being while Kenpachi does not so to be honest that automatically gives the assumption

Ichigo is stronger than Kenpachi. Ichigo defeated Aizen and not Kenpachi. At the end of the manga Ichigo will surpass his power that he used against Aizen. He will be stronger than in his final Getsuga Tensho form.

He wont be stronger than FGT Ichigo, because that was him using the full power of Fake Zangetsu and Hollow ichigo combined. At best, he will be able to use it's power again, without loosing his own.
