Definitely. Coby has the fastest growth rate of any One Piece character. I think Coby improves so quickly because he is a prodigy. I say he has extreme talent for haki also.

-master his special CoO
-master of CoA(better than Vergo's display)
-have great CoC
-master Rokushiki and Garp's technigue
-Mera Mera no mi

With all this, that I see as highly plausible, Coby can push Luffy high-exteme diff.

I used to think it'd be a cool way to give Coby a push in strength if he got the MMnM (this was before chapter 731) but now I think he should remain a non-DF user and be the first non-DF admiral. He can specialize in rokushiki and haki. That would be a great combo.

No, Coby will never catch up to him. The MC always needs a rival and Coby just so happens to be Luffy's rival, but we all know that he will never catch up to him.

I say he's gonna die. I was quite surprised that Sabo got it instead of Coby because Coby is a much better choice and its more symbolic.
