His chakra cloak blocked Tenpenchi, Gouka Mekkyaku, Bakufū Ranbu, several Magatamas, several giant kunai, and his chakra tails tanked Jūbi's Bijūdama. None of Deidara's attacks would get past Naruto's massive Bijū cloak. Stronger attacks like C2 and C3 are either tanked or deflected by chakra tails/arms, and the tiny clay bombs of C4 won't get past Bijū cloak, sadly.

He may enjoy the sight of Deidara's fireworks, but when he gets serious, he summons the elder toads inside his Bijū cloak, have them prepare their long-ranged sound genjutsu, and with Kyūbi's chakra powering them up, making them at least 3 times as powerful, may god have mercy on Deidara's soul.

I thought that its battle without preparations, where Naruto and Deidara doesnt know that they are going to fight, which means that Naruto starts in his base. Both are standing 15 meters from each other, and Naruto activates BM / KCM in a split of second. Deidara dont really have a chance to keep his distance.
Besides, Deidara doesnt know that Naruto is perfect Jinchuuriki, he died even before Naruto learned SM.

That that wasnt a destructive explosion that the c4 intially set off. It was a pressure explosion that helped the nano's travel in the air.

You forget that the FRS expands its range. It would cover deidara's entire C4 giant. And if it wasnt big enough, naruto could just make two and throw them together.

You are implying that deidara knew that Itachi had a susanoo. The only thing deidara knew is that he had powerful genjutsu. Itachi hadnt used his susanoo in the manga until he fought sasuke.
If that explosion didn't destroy those nano bombs, nothing would. You need to understand, that explosion made all those nano bombs scatter, and bijju dama would do the same as well.
Also you need to understand that naruto cannot make bijju dama explode at will unlike deidara. Deidara can send some mini bombs to explode near bijju dama and make it explode on naruto himself.
And i am not saying deidara's nano bombs are immune to explosion just resistant to explosions.
Using bijju dama against deidara is a bad tactic since, he would just send some mini bombs nad make it explode on naruto while he is trying to form one.
Only those wind like structures on FRS are effective against nano bombs and not the entire FRS itself.
making 3 or more FRS would help but they will not entirely destroy those nano clone since there are millions in number.
And if you go on increasing the number of FRS, it would also increase the time taken, whether it be through clones or FRS formation itself, which would be bad for naruto.

Anyways Deidara's fighting style is my favorite in Naruto but against Tailed Best Mode Naruto he doesn't stand a chance. Against Sage Mode Naruto (before this whole thing went extremely over the top)... that would have been a very interesting battle.
Itachi can most likely defend himself by yata mirror or may be not. Its debatable.
Madara can use pretha path and shinra tensei to counter nano bombs. Pretha path would be more effective though.

@bold : No. As i have said before, if naruto can breathe in BM cloak, nano bombs can get into his body.
c2 and c3 are merely diversions and effective counters for naruto 's clone etc . C4 is the real deal.

It is purely assumption that sound genjutsu would get enhanced by kyuubi cloak. Not all techniques get enhanced through kyuubi cloak, mostly doujutsu and taijutusu is enhanced.
Again, sound genjutsu requires alot of time to prepare , so deidara can use c4 in the mean time and deidara can create huge explosions which can repel wind and thus the sound genjutsu gets used on naruto himself.

15m distance is an unfair advantage for naruto, it should be atleast 50m distance.
Deidara would realize naruto has game full control over bijju as soon as he senses kyuubi chakra coming out of naruto.

Yeah BM Naruto is a bit much for him. Especially with all those extending Kyuubi arms, the rasengan variations, Gamabunta and rasenshuriken- Deidara would sadly lose this.
Is this a joke? 50m is nothing for Naruto to cover before Deidera can notice him having moved. You claim a biju dama can be intercpted to explode near Naruto with the clay which I find rather laughable. You previously stated that Naruto doesn't control if the biju dama explodes which is true, however Naruto can use it as a beam which doesn't necessarily explode but follows through with force.

It is plausible that Deidera reacts in time to get out of its way if he's in the air, but when he's on his feet he has no chance of withstanding the explosion radius. You may say Deidera will stay air-borne thorough out the fight but Naruto can simply use a chakra roar to knock him off his little bird.

Since you can see in this scan that Kurama was able to send 5 Bijuu's flying away with a single roar, he would be able to send a single skinny person off of his c1 or c2 (whichever you chose).

This shows that they both jumped a decently amount higher then the hills next to them. In BM Naruto can most likely jump many time the amount he just did. Chakra arms can also be used to give him more burst in his jump or keep him at an elevated height.

You can see on the bottom left panel how much larger the hills were compared to Naruto incase you thought they were on the small side. Saying Deidera will inject nano insect within Naruto doesn't even seem plausible. Naruto can simply use his roar to keep scattering them away some several miles, thus making them nearly ineffective, as they most likely don't move quickly (even if they did, it doesn't change much).
SM Naruto threw a FRS which crossed a mountain range within one second. The average mountain range size is approximately 100km and reach around 7000 km. Lets take the worst case scenario and say it was 100km, or no, even 50km. 50km in 1 second is nearly 6 times the speed of sound (approx. .35km per second), any logical person would know that with this speed, it is nearly unavoidable. I wouldn't necessarily say the sandaime raikage had to dodge this speed, since Naruto was the one controlling it, it wouldn't reach these speeds. Deidera can't avoid this whether he is airborne or not, simple fact. Deidera won't even avoid a 1 km/s attack.
