an icha icha page from the novelized version of the Last

Hinata : “Please don’t stare… this is a mission gear so… I can’t choose…”
Hinata hiding her naked arms and lowering her eyes with a blush on her cheeks made Naruto’s heart twinge.
Naruto : *thinking *”something, anything will do…I oughta say something now! I must say something(cool)!”

The anime producers wrote the majority of the script for the Last, but idk about the novel. Kishi gets too embarrassed with writing romance(according to interviews), so I don't think he was behind it.

Not necessarily, Kishi is calling "The Last" canon, even though most of the script was wrote by the producers and he just approved it. Besides Kishi makes manga, he doesn't write novels, at least to my knowledge.
